A report suggests that the royals are planning to visit President Donald Trump in 2026 in an effort to strengthen their "special relationship."

Reports indicate that King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior members of the royal family are preparing to visit President Donald Trump in the U.S. with the aim of strengthening their relationship.
Discussions about a foreign visit by high-ranking members of the king's family have been held in Downing Street, according to The Times. Although the plan is still in its infancy, it is expected to take place in 2026, the outlet reported.
"The outlet reported that a senior U.K. government source stated that Donald Trump has a strong bond with the royal family. The source revealed that Trump had a close relationship with the late Queen, recently met Prince William, and spoke highly of King Charles. A royal visit to the U.S. would strengthen the "special relationship" between the two nations."
"Another insider stated that playing up to his pro-monarchist tendencies is one of several ways we can use our soft power. This was evident during his first administration and can be expected to occur again."
Neither Kensington Palace nor Buckingham Palace provided a comment when Planet Chronicle Digital reached out for their input.
President Trump and King Charles' relationship stems from way back.
In 2005, Queen Camilla and Charles first met during their visit to the U.S. Since then, they have recognized each other in different ways.
On Monday, President Trump received a personal message of congratulations from King Charles on his inauguration, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace to Planet Chronicle Digital.
A spokesperson stated that the message conveyed the "enduring special relationship between the U.K. and the U.S."
King Charles has been praised by Trump as a "wonderful guy."
Keir Starmer, the U.K. Prime Minister, congratulated President Trump in a video message on Monday and expressed his desire to further develop their partnership.
Starmer stated that for centuries, our two nations have had a bond of collaboration, cooperation, and enduring partnership. This bond is unique and he expressed this after meeting President Trump in September.
During a visit to Paris in December, President Trump had a "great talk" with Prince William.
They attended the re-opening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral in France and later met privately at the U.K. ambassador's residence.
The New York Post reported that Trump had a wonderful conversation with the prince.
Trump stated that he inquired about Kate Middleton's well-being and was informed that she was doing well. He also asked about King Charles' cancer and learned that his father was fighting fiercely. Despite the sadness of the situation, Trump expressed his love for both his father and wife.
