Sebastian, Ban's son, paid a touching homage to his mother through a social media post.
On Monday, my mum passed away. She wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news to people who supported her. The post, accompanied by photos of Ban, read.
"My mum was my best friend, the best mother to me, and someone who cared for all. Although many of you followed her, you never got the chance to know her or meet her in person. I would like to take this opportunity to share who she really was."

As he concluded his post, Ban's son's final message to his mother was, "I will miss you forever," with a sentiment she always shared with him - "I love you more than life itself."

On Monday, Jan. 20 at 1:30 p.m., the NYPD responded to a call in the vicinity of Warren Street and West Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 52-year-old woman who was "unconscious and unresponsive" inside the location.
Police announced that the female was declared dead by EMS at the scene.
The medical examiner is currently investigating the cause of death, but there were "no arrests." The investigation remains ongoing, police informed Planet Chronicle Digital.
Netflix did not immediately respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
In the weeks before her demise, the celebrity revealed harrowing details about her emergency brain surgery following a ski accident in Aspen that resulted in a brain bleed.
In a split second, life can change. On Christmas Eve, while skiing in Aspen with my family, I had a ski accident that would alter my life. I caught a tip and face planted, but fortunately, I always wear a helmet. Although it didn't seem severe at the time, I wanted to get checked by ski patrol to ensure I didn't have a concussion.
The paramedic recommended that Ban go to the hospital for a CAT scan after experiencing a minor headache.
Thirty minutes later, I was informed I had a brain bleed and needed to be airlifted to the trauma hospital. The last thing I recall was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy," Ban shared, with her partner Jett Kain by her side on "Bling Empire: New York.
She posted pictures of her shaved head with stitches and her intubated in a hospital bed, with medical tubes inserted in the back of her head and in her mouth.
"The road to recovery is long, but I am a survivor and grateful to ski patrol, the amazing team of doctors and nurses, my family and friends. GOD IS GOOD."
She concluded her post, expressing gratitude and blessings for the new year.
The beloved reality star was paid tribute to by celebrities, including Rihanna and Dorothy Wang.
"2025 is rocking me at this point! This is too much!!! Lynn, you will always be our fairy godmother! Love you forever and always! Can’t believe I’m writing this in a comment section rn! Thank you for all the joy you brought to us!" - Rihanna wrote on Instagram.
Wang replied to her son Sebastian in the heartfelt post.
Wang shared in the comments section that although they had never met, the way Sebastian's mother lit up every time she spoke of him would never be forgotten. Wang won't forget the many wonderful things about Sebastian's mother.
"She was a fierce yet kind individual who cherished her family above all else. Despite her love for fashion and appearance, it was her devotion to her loved ones that truly mattered most to her. We are all grieving."
Christine Chiu, another star of "Bling Empire," expressed her grief over the loss of her friend.
"Lynn led an inspiring and incredible life, and was an extraordinary human... mom, wife, artist, boss, queen. May her love and light live on forever. I am so sorry for your loss."
Ban, a renowned New York City jewelry designer, was born in Singapore and crafted bespoke pieces for high-profile celebrities such as Rihanna and Beyoncé.
She was a member of the "Bling Empire: New York" cast when it premiered on Netflix in 2023. The series was a spinoff of the original "Bling Empire" series, which focused on the lavish lifestyles of a group of affluent Asian Americans living in Los Angeles.
Ban is survived by her husband, Jett, and son, Sebastian.
