The Rock expressed his honor to return to the "scared land" and spend time with soldiers and their families at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Oahu, Hawaii.

"Being back on this base is a privilege and an honor for me," he said to the packed theater. "Growing up on the other side of the island, I did a lot of things I shouldn't have as a kid and teenager."

As a token of appreciation, The Rock was presented with a flag of the joint base before leaving the stage.
"I love you guys so much, thank you for your service," he said.
