Wayne Osmond, a founding member of the Osmond Brothers, has passed away at the age of 73.
On New Year's Day, the brother of Donny and Marie Osmond passed away due to a massive stroke, as per the family.

"Wayne Osmond, a cherished spouse and parent, passed away tranquilly last night with his devoted wife and five kids by his side, as stated by the Osmond family on their Facebook page. His enduring legacy of faith, music, love, and humor has touched the lives of countless individuals worldwide."
"The family stated that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, families are forever, and banana splits are the best dessert, and added that they love him and will miss him dearly."
On New Year's Day, Wayne Osmond suffered a massive stroke and passed away on Thursday, as confirmed by Merrill Osmond.
"Upon discovering that my brother Wayne suffered a massive stroke, my first reaction was to drop to my knees and pray for him to receive confirmation that his mission was successful, and he had accomplished it in many ways. I promptly drove to the hospital in SLC to say my final goodbyes."
"My brother was a saint before he came into this world, and he will leave as an even greater saint than he came in. He was the most humble man I have ever known, with no guile whatsoever. He was quick to forgive and had the ability to show unconditional love to everyone he ever met."
"The passing of my brother Wayne will be a sorrowful occasion for some, but for those who are eagerly anticipating his arrival in the afterlife, there will be an extravagant celebration that will surpass our wildest dreams. He will miss him greatly. He is deeply grateful for having grown up with one of heavenly father's greatest sons.
Amy, Wayne's daughter, wrote that she is struggling to accept her father's passing, but is thankful for the time they shared.
"She expressed on Facebook how difficult it is for her to convey the depth of her sadness about not having her "twin" for a while. However, she is grateful for the time they spent together and the unforgettable memories they created. She appreciated her father's strength, loyalty, talent, energy, and, most importantly, his love. She eagerly awaits the day when she can reunite with him on the other side. She concluded by expressing her love for her father."
A Facebook page has been created by the Osmond family for fans to remember Wayne through shared memories, photos, and jokes.
