Walker Hayes, a country star, expresses concern that AI may surpass his writing abilities in the future.
The singer expresses gratitude for being born during a time when creativity was highly valued.
The future worries Walker Hayes, a country star, due to artificial intelligence.
The individual stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that they are grateful for being born during a time when creativity was essential. They recently heard an AI song created by an AI group and were impressed, stating that it could surpass their writing abilities any day.
He continued, "It was absolutely phenomenal, and I won't pretend I could outdo it."
Years in the music industry culminated in Hayes' No. 1 hit on the Billboard Country chart with "Fancy Like," which became viral on TikTok.
""I'm not sure if I want to see what the world looks like without the necessity for humans to create, as it seems like we would all just be sitting and not moving, only talking and lying in bed. This thought is quite unsettling to me," he said."

Even with those concerns, Hayes has faith in humanity.
"I believe that God endowed us with creativity. Every individual possesses this trait. Our creation of AI is a testament to our creative abilities. It's astonishing to consider the extent of our creativity," the 44-year-old stated.
He jokingly remarked, "If someone could put my vocals on my records without me having to sing them, that would be great - it would simplify my life."
Randy Travis, a country singer who lost his speaking and singing abilities to a stroke more than 10 years ago, was able to create new music with the help of AI.
Last month at the ACM Awards, Travis and his wife, Mary, shared with Planet Chronicle Digital how the technology has enabled Randy to create music again, allowing him to do the things he loved most in life. If anyone could relate to this situation, it would be those who have lost their greatest passion. For 11 years, Travis and Mary prayed for the opportunity to make music once again.
Travis agreed as she continued, "Now that he can, it's been magical. We call it 'artistic intelligence' because watching him and Kyle Lehning work together to create a song from 42 of his stems, with James Dupree laying down the vocals, was truly amazing."
"We hope that AI will be used for good and not misused or stolen from artists," Mary stated.
