On Sunday, FBI agents were present near Ben Affleck's property, but he is not facing any legal issues.
On Tuesday, two days after the FBI visited his Brentwood residence, Ben Affleck was spotted engaging in a lively discussion with police officers from within his car.
According to a source, Affleck was conversing with the police about his neighbor who had hired private security, who were reportedly preventing individuals from reentering their homes, including Affleck himself. He was expressing to the authorities that private security cannot enforce such restrictions.
Affleck, who spoke to police officers in a police cruiser from his car, was seen gesturing at several points during the conversation before eventually driving away.
On Sunday, FBI agents were present near his property, but Affleck is not facing any charges, the agency confirmed.
The FBI assisted with a grid search for an unauthorized drone in the area, near the Palisades Fire evacuation zone, as per the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's statement to Planet Chronicle Digital on Wednesday.
The FBI's Ground Intercept task force is currently active in the Palisades fire area. Agents and local partners may be seen in the vicinity, including at homes, as explained by FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller.
According to a source, when the agents arrived at Affleck's home, he was not present. After spending some time on the property, they left.
Planet Chronicle Digital has reached out to a rep for Affleck for comment.
Affleck was seen hugging his daughter Violet, 19, outside their former home where he and Jennifer Lopez reportedly resided before she filed for divorce in August.
In July, it was reported that Affleck bought a new home in Pacific Palisades for over $20 million. It is said that his home survived the Palisades Fire.
Jennifer Garner, Affleck's ex-wife, resides in Pacific Palisades, where he temporarily stayed during the time his Brentwood home was in danger, as reported by The New York Post.
"Garner, who has resided in and near the Palisades for 25 years, shared with MSNBC that his heart aches for his friends. He stated, "There are 5,000 homes lost, and I could easily compile a list of 100 friends who have lost their homes.""
"I feel almost guilty walking through my house," she said. "What can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?"
The Palisades Fire has now been contained at 19%, having burned over 23,000 acres and destroyed 2,191 structures, resulting in the loss of eight lives.
