Rapper Snoop Dogg is showing his support for President-elect Trump.
At the Crypto Ball, a pre-iauguration event, the "Gin and Juice" rapper got the crowd dancing to several hit songs.
Snoop, as the DJ, encouraged Trump supporters with Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds (Don't Worry About a Thing)." He also played some of his own hits, such as "Drop It Like It’s Hot."

A video of Snoop wearing a black jacket with gold buttons, a bowtie, and gold-rimmed sunglasses in Washington, D.C. was posted on social media.
Snoop Dogg was joined by other high-profiled guests such as rapper Rick Ross and UFC star Colby Covington, who shared their experiences of hanging out with the rap legend.
Covington stated on X, "Nothing but a 'G' Thang."
After changing his tune about President-elect Trump, the "Young, Wild and Free" rapper performed.
In 2017, Snoop mocked Trump in a music video for his song "Lavender" by depicting him as a clown and shooting him in the head.
Snoop also delivered laughs during a Trump roast in 2011.
During a 2020 radio show interview, Snoop expressed his view that Trump was not fit to hold office.
"The rapper stated on "Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Real 92.3" that although they have never voted before, they plan to do so this year because they cannot bear to see the current president in office for another term."
Snoop Dogg, who is 53 years old, stated that he didn't believe he was eligible to vote because of his criminal record. He was convicted of a felony in 1990 and 2007.
The rapper criticized Trump and his supporters in a video clip shared by XXL Magazine, stating, "Donald Trump is a bizarre individual. I don't hold a grudge against those who voted for him. However, if you continue to support him, you're screwed."
In January 2024, Snoop praised Trump after a history of criticizing the President-elect and his supporters.
Snoop Dogg stated in an interview with The Sunday Times that he believes Donald Trump has only done great things for him and that he was pardoned by the former president.
"Donald Trump has earned my love and respect."
In 2021, Michael "Harry-O" Harris, an associate of Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight and the founder of the label's parent company, Godfather Entertainment, was pardoned as one of Trump's final decisions before leaving office. Snoop Dogg was famously signed by the label but later left it. In 2022, Snoop acquired Death Row Records.
Snoop Dogg commended Trump for commuting Harris' sentence, which was over three decades long and related to conspiracy and attempted murder charges.
On Monday, January 20th, President-elect Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States.
