Trump has garnered celebrity endorsements due to a perceived sense of security, according to Kid Rock.
Ahead of Monday's inauguration, Kid Rock, a longtime supporter of Donald Trump, performs at the Capital One Arena.
On Sunday afternoon, at President-elect Trump's MAGA Victory Rally, Kid Rock began his performance at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. by singing "Sweet Home Alabama."
The rocker performed his pointed 2022 song "We The People," which included lyrics such as "We all bleed red, brother, listen to me/It's time for love and unity," before leaving the stage to fans chanting "U-S-A."
Before the show, the performer visited "Fox & Friends Weekend" to discuss the noticeable change in atmosphere in both Washington D.C. and Hollywood.
Robert James Ritchie, also known as the musician, stated to Lawrence Jones, Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade that it felt like the rebirth of their nation after the UFC fight following the election. He added that it was a feeling he experienced at the championship fight, where Trump supporters like Elon Musk, Dana White, and himself were present in New York City.
The "Born Free" singer explained that there's an overwhelming sense that America is back, a feeling that has been expressed a million times.
Hollywood has become more willing to support Trump since he won the presidency in November, as evidenced by Kid Rock's comments.
"Now that they've dipped their toe in the water for four to eight years, they feel safe to go in," he joked. "Welcome to the party, like I said. It's better to have them on board than not," he added.
Last week, it was announced that Carrie Underwood, who is known for staying away from politics, would be performing "America The Beautiful" at Trump's inauguration. In a statement, the country superstar expressed her love for the country and her honor at being asked to sing at the inauguration and be a part of the historic event.
Nelly and Jason Aldean, both Trump supporters, were invited to perform at the Liberty Ball.
Last week, Trump appointed Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight as "special ambassadors" to Hollywood, California, a "great but troubled place." All three actors have publicly supported Trump or spoken favorably about him. Voight was also present at Sunday's rally.
Kid Rock stated, "The atmosphere has undergone a significant transformation, and there has been a substantial alteration in all aspects."
"People witnessed his actions the first time, and when you examine the data and the results, it's clear that it will only improve from there. The sentiment is widespread, especially among those who support us. However, I believe that reasonable individuals understand that if we had a reasonable Democrat, the feeling would be even stronger."
"We may have different opinions, but if you're a reasonable person, it's okay."
The air is changing ahead of Trump's inauguration, says Kid Rock.
