Tommy Lee criticizes celebrities for promoting themselves during the LA fires.
Mötley Crüe rocker calls for musicians to assist those affected by fires.
Tommy Lee, the drummer of Mötley Crüe, criticized artists who were promoting themselves during the California fires.
Earlier this week, Lee, 62, criticized celebrities promoting albums and tours on social media amid the severe damage caused by fires in Los Angeles.
"Makes me sick to see most people continuing to post on lame social media!" Lee wrote on Instagram.
"Right now, nobody cares about your record or the next concert because so many people are in the midst of a major disaster!"
On Jan. 9, Lee's band Mötley Crüe paid tribute to those affected by the Los Angeles fires and shared their sentiments on social media, urging people to stop and see who needs help instead of relying on comic relief.
"We express our sympathy to those affected by the unprecedented fires in Los Angeles."
The band posted on Facebook, "Stay safe with your loved ones as we unite to overcome together."
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, a catastrophic fire occurred in the Los Angeles area, resulting in the displacement of thousands of residents and the destruction of their homes and businesses.
At least 25 people have been confirmed dead in the fires, with the number expected to increase, while dozens are reported missing. Meanwhile, celebrities such as Justine Bateman have called for the removal of Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Los Angeles officials in the wake of the fires.
The actress demanded the removal of Newsom after he posted a video of himself expressing his willingness to collaborate with President-elect Trump on combating the wildfires.
"Gavin Newsom's lack of sincerity, dismissiveness, and dedication to pretentiousness, as well as his dereliction of care for the citizens of California, must be seen by other CA voters. This behavior has been consistent in every video, and it is clear that he cannot be trusted with any role, especially one that affects our wellbeing. Therefore, Gavin Newsom needs to be removed before something worse happens in California."
