The neighbor of Charlie Sheen has pleaded not guilty to a felony assault charge after being accused of attacking the actor at his Malibu home.
Actor claims Electra Schrock, 47, attempted to choke him in his apartment.
On Tuesday, in a Los Angeles courtroom, Charlie Sheen's alleged assailant entered a plea of not guilty to felony assault.
The L.A. County District Attorney's Office confirmed to Planet Chronicle Digital that Electra Schrock, 47, was charged with one count of assault "by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury."
"The scheduled bail amount of $75,000 was set by the court without any prejudice."
A judge also issued a criminal protective order against Schrock.
Planet Chronicle Digital did not receive an immediate response from Sheen's representatives when requested a comment.
Due to transportation issues, Schrock was unable to attend her court appearance in Van Nuys and remained in custody at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, resulting in her arraignment being postponed until after Christmas.
On Dec. 20, a battery/disturbance call was received in western Malibu, prompting deputies to respond to the incident.
"According to Planet Chronicle Digital, authorities confirmed that Charlie Sheen was a victim of assault. The suspect, Electra Schrock, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury, and residential burglary."
Last week, Schrock was standing at "Two and a Half Men" actor's door and he heard knocking.
According to authorities, Schrock forcefully entered Sheen's home and began attacking him, grabbing at his neck and shirt. Sheen tried to escape, but Schrock persisted in her pursuit until she eventually ripped his shirt. Sheen was able to call 911 after the incident.
Besides Schrock's felony assault charge against Sheen, she was also arrested in March on another felony charge and released on a $20,000 bond.
