The latest plastic surgery trend among celebrities is generating buzz due to Lindsay Lohan's new appearance.
Michael Lohan, the father of "Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan, stated that his daughter has never undergone plastic surgery.
Many celebrities, including Lindsay Lohan, have sparked curiosity about a new wave of "undetectable" plastic surgery.
The actress, who stars in Netflix's new holiday movie "Our Little Secret," has been receiving attention for her youthful appearance in the film.
"An esthetician in a viral TikTok video in November stated that they need to know everything that happened between 2018 and 2024 in order to achieve a transformation as extreme as they desire. They are in the industry and are struggling to find the right words to express their feelings."
According to Dr. Kristy Hamilton, MD, FACS of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the "undetectable" look is more than just a trend.
"The 'undetectable' look is not just a trend, it represents a significant cultural shift in aesthetics as well as progress in and refinement of our surgical techniques as plastic surgeons," she said. "I would argue that overfilled lips and frozen faces have never been trendy, they're the unwanted side effects of patients seeking youth that perhaps have been overtreated or, simply stated, would have benefited from a surgical intervention instead."
Hamilton frequently informs her patients that facial features are not a form of fashion expression.
"Undoing aesthetic surgery is not as easy as changing a dress silhouette, so we strive for timeless beauty at all times," she stated. "Patients now prioritize treatments that make them look refreshed and youthful without revealing they've had work done. This shift is due to technological advancements, new techniques, and a greater understanding of facial anatomy, which produce results that harmonize with the patient's natural features."
"The 'undetectable' look is more about achieving timeless, personalized beauty and less about chasing fleeting trends, she said."
Despite rumors about Lohan's new appearance, her father, Michael Lohan, stated that his daughter underwent no surgical procedures.
"Lohan revealed that Lohan has undergone peels, fillers, and Botox, despite previously stating that she has never had any plastic surgery done."
"Her appearance is so authentic — just like her abilities," he remarked. "It's repulsive for individuals to spread false stories."
Lohan is not the only celebrity who has sparked curiosity surrounding their appearance.
Another fan questioned, "Could you be aging in reverse?!"
"Being honest and open about what you're doing is great, as long as you're comfortable with it," she said to Allure in 2023. "I've always been open about embracing my body, looks, and other things."

Unlike Halle Berry, who has openly expressed her disapproval of plastic surgery.
""
"Berry, 58, stated, "I want to always look like myself, even if it's an older version of myself. I believe that when you overdo cosmetic treatments, you become someone else in a way.""
Feldmar Aesthetics founder, Dr. David Feldmar MD, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, notes that nowadays individuals are increasingly drawn to more natural appearances.
Feldmar told Planet Chronicle Digital that in his practice, there has been a significant increase in the shift towards more natural results, with a move away from the exaggerated and overdone look.
Since the conclusion of COVID lockdowns, this trend has intensified. For the past 15 years, my method has consistently emphasized natural beauty, and now, more than ever, the current zeitgeist aligns with what I have been refining throughout my career.
"Our objective as plastic surgeons has always been to improve beauty without giving away the secret. Although we have made progress, the emergence of new techniques, technologies, and biologics has led to what I call the era of undetectable plastic surgery."
Natural surgery is achieved through a combination of surgical and non-surgical techniques, such as fat grafting, less invasive facelifts, and advanced implants. Each procedure is customized to the patient's unique anatomy and aesthetic goals, resulting in harmonious outcomes that blend seamlessly with their natural features.
""
But it "doesn't stop there," says Feldmar.
The emergence of biologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cells, and exosomes is ushering in a new era of medicine. These therapies allow us to tap into the body's natural healing powers to repair tissues, regenerate skin, and promote overall rejuvenation. By offering more targeted, less invasive alternatives to traditional treatments, my patients can achieve even more natural results, better healing, and healthier, more youthful skin.
"The advancements in aesthetics have left me in awe, and I am eager to see what the future holds. With our growing knowledge of beauty, the potential is endless. The innovation we are currently witnessing is just the beginning."
