Next year, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen will commemorate their 30th wedding anniversary.
In their 70s, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen's date nights differ from their previous ones.
In a People interview, Danson revealed that the couple, who are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary next year, prefer spending time together in the early mornings rather than going on a romantic date night.
At my age, I prefer early bird specials during date nights, said Danson, who is 76 years old.
He continued, "Early mornings at 4:30, with coffee in bed, playing Wordle, Connections, and Spelling Bee, while talking, laughing, and sharing."
The actor said, "For both of us, it feels like being in heaven on Earth."

Steenburgen, 71, and Danson, despite their busy schedules, still have their sweet mornings together.
He assured that even if she was in a different time zone, they would still be able to play games and have coffee over the phone at the same time.
Steenburgen and Danson met in their 40s and were previously married, which is why Danson cherishes the moments he spends with his wife.
Steenburgen and McDowell were married from 1980 to 1990 and share a son and daughter.
Danson first married Randy Danson in 1970, but they divorced in 1975. He then married Casey Coates in 1977, and they divorced in 1973. Danson and Coates share two daughters, Alexis and Kate.
"Before meeting Steenburgen, Danson had decided to become a more emotionally mature and honest person, which he worked hard at."
If Danson had met "Elf" actress earlier in life, their relationship would not have worked due to his dedication to becoming his best self later in life.
"I'll just speak for myself," Danson said. "I wasn't fully emotionally baked until shortly before I met Mary... Thank God we didn't meet earlier."
In 1995, Steenburgen and Danson got married after initially crossing paths on the set of "Pontiac Moon" in 1993.
In 2019, the actor declared to Closer Weekly that he is still deeply in love with his spouse.
"The star stated that they celebrate every day, acknowledging their good fortune. They have loving children and grandchildren, and they cherish their relationships. Their love for each other is intense."
The actress's blissful union with Danson was inspired by his upbringing.
Danson stated that he views himself as a family man, in part, due to his parents' successful 40-year marriage.
When they first met, Danson and Steenburgen were prepared to start a new phase in their relationship.
"We met when I was 45 and she was 40," he said. "We had both lived a bit and faced our own inner struggles. It was fortunate that we crossed paths at that time."
