Ricki Lake claims that the celebrity psychic had predicted the destruction of her home in California months ago.
The Palisades Fire destroyed the Malibu home of Lake.
Last week, Ricki Lake's Malibu home was destroyed by the Palisades Fire, despite her having spoken with celebrity medium Tyler Henry three months prior, who predicted a home connected to Lake would be damaged by both fire and water.
"I'm trying to express this without it sounding alarming," Henry started, discussing a scene from his Netflix series, "Live from the Other Side." "I believe this may have already occurred. If there was a loss of material objects due to fire and water, and water specifically, that's the strange distinction," he continued as Lake nodded in agreement. "It's two different things."
"We'll discover a tale involving a house fire or a related incident."
"There was a house fire," Lake said.
"In addition, it might be more relevant. We experienced a severe storm that caused our basement to flood, resulting in the destruction of several photographs. The sight of water seeping into a restricted area and causing damage is quite distressing. Therefore, we must consider both of these factors."
"But the fire already happened?" Lake inquired, revealing her residence in Malibu. "The fire already happened," Henry acknowledged, acknowledging the vulnerability of the region. "But the focus here is on water. Fire and water. We need to monitor it."
In an Instagram post, Lake acknowledged Henry's premonition and praised him for predicting the outcome, urging viewers to watch the episode.
"Three months ago, on Oct 15th, 2024, Ross and I were on Tyler's show and saw the fire," she wrote.
Last week, Lake posted pictures of her stunning Malibu property on social media, informing her followers that she had lost her "ideal home" in the fires.
"All is lost," she wrote, beneath a series of photos of her home before the fire. "I can't believe I am typing these words," Lake said. "A valiant and brave effort" was made by their friend to save the home, but unfortunately, they did not succeed. "The place where we planned to grow old together. We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved Malibu for granted, not even for one second. I shared our sunset views almost daily with all of you."
"This loss is incalculable. It's the place where we got married three years ago," she said, referring to her third marriage to Ross Burningham. "I mourn alongside all those affected by this catastrophic event. Praying for the safety of my neighbors, friends, community, animals, firefighters, and first responders. I have more to share about how we managed to escape with Dolly and little else. For now, I mourn.""
On Sunday, she posted a video of the remaining parts of their home and garden from the courtyard. She wrote, "Miraculously, the palm trees survived! I can't believe it... And the sound of birds chirping brings warmth to my broken heart."
The Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, and Hurst Fire are the three active fires currently burning in Los Angeles, with the Palisades Fire being 14% contained, the Eaton Fire being 33% contained, and the Hurst Fire being 89% contained. A total of over 12,300 structures have been destroyed.
