According to People magazine, the Duke and Duchess of York, along with their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will not be present for the morning church services or the lunch with the royal family at Sandringham House.
According to Sky News, Prince Andrew recently had contact with an alleged Chinese spy. On Friday, his office released a statement stating that he had cut ties with the Chinese businessman on the advice of officials, but that the pair had never discussed anything of a "sensitive nature."
The Duke of York, despite being eighth in line to the throne, lost his military affiliations and royal patronages in January 2022 due to his controversial friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual assault.
Andrew is no longer a senior working royal due to his friendship with Epstein.
