Prince Andrew is refusing to leave his $38M home, causing King Charles to lose patience.

In 2019, Prince Andrew withdrew from royal duties following his association with the deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew is "irritating" King Charles by refusing to vacate his luxurious residence.

Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, claimed that the British monarch is frustrated with his younger brother and wants to move him to a smaller residence promptly.

The siege of Royal Lodge continues, and the Prince Andrew scandal persists, according to Chard's statement to Planet Chronicle Digital.

""Prince Andrew is clinging to Royal Lodge despite King Charles' hopes that he would leave quietly," she stated."

"Apart from family, Andrew has lost everything else," Chard stated.

The U.K. Sunday Times reported that the king is "losing patience" over Prince Andrew's living arrangements and is "at his wit's end." The monarch, 75, is determined to resolve the "Andrew problem."

According to the outlet, the home is worth $38 million.

The Sun reported that the king did not renew the contract for his 64-year-old private security team, which expires in the fall, and no replacement security detail has been arranged.

The king, who is fighting cancer, has been covering the cost of Andrew's security at Royal Lodge since the prince lost his police protection in 2022. The security team is estimated to cost Charles around $4 million annually.

Buckingham Palace refused to comment on "security matters" and did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment on the latest report.

According to Planet Chronicle Digital, royal experts revealed that the king has instructed Andrew to vacate his 31-room residence, which he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. This property was previously occupied by the Queen Mother until her passing in 2002.

"Prince Andrew's reputation is at an all-time low, and yet, his ego is at an all-time high. He has dug his heels and refuses to leave the home he loves, the prestigious Royal Lodge, despite King Charles realizing that it is not a good look."

Prince Andrew is struggling financially because he is no longer receiving money from the royal purse and is unable to pay the substantial costs associated with Royal Lodge.

"Prince Andrew will be frozen out of Royal Lodge as King Charles has decided to freeze his financial support."

Since 2004, Andrew has resided in Royal Lodge after signing a 75-year lease agreement the previous year. The property demands an estimated $503,000 annually for maintenance.

The duke, who was "on the verge of eviction," was predicted to reduce his holdings following his connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The king would financially support the Duke and Duchess of York if they resided at Frogmore Cottage, the former royal residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Over a year has passed since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were requested to leave Frogmore Cottage.

However, Andrew is reportedly "refusing" to downsize.

"According to royal expert Hilary Fordwich, who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital, King Charles is extremely frustrated, while Prince Andrew is trapped by his own arrogance."

Fordwich stated that Prince Andrew is determined to remain, as Charles aims to be esteemed by taxpayers in his pursuit of being the "People's King." Charles' vision of the monarchy and "cutting back costs" encompasses all non-working royals, including Prince Andrew.

"Prince Andrew is viewed negatively by the British public, with low popularity ratings and little public sympathy. He fails to connect with the financially struggling public."

The ongoing feud between Charles and Andrew has left their siblings "disappointed," as noted by the U.K. Times. Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, are "unhappy" with the monarch's handling of the situation, as are Ferguson, 64, and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

"Fordwich claimed that King Charles and Prince Andrew's relationship is "guarded" and "Machiavellian," with the advice being "better to keep one's friends close and one's enemies closer.""

"Fordwich stated that the king and his brother, Andrew, are different characters due to various reasons. There is an age difference between them, and their late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, showed more attention and affection towards Andrew. However, Andrew's embarrassing behavior caused his family and nation, and it put a strain on their late mother."

In 2019, Andrew stepped back from royal duties due to his controversial connection to Epstein and was stripped of his honorary military titles. Before her death in 2022, the queen removed his honorary leadership of charities and barred him from using the title "his royal highness" in official settings.

The council in York unanimously voted to revoke the "freedom of the city" that was granted to Prince Andrew in 1987. This is the first time that the honor, which dates back to medieval times, has been taken away.

Since then, local leaders have contended that Andrew should relinquish the title of Duke of York in addition to his royal duties. However, a representative for Andrew refused to provide any comment on the matter at the time.

In 2020, Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed a lawsuit accusing Andrew of exploiting her sexually on three occasions in 2001 when she was 17. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

In 2022, a U.S. judge dismissed the sex abuse lawsuit against Andrew, who settled with Giuffre. The prince made a substantial donation to his accuser's charity and declared he never intended to harm her reputation.

In 2019, at the age of 66, Epstein was discovered deceased in his cell. The U.S. attorney in Manhattan charged Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, with aiding in the recruitment of his underage victims. She was found guilty in 2021 and is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.

Andrew was mentioned in previously concealed court records concerning Epstein that were made public in the new year. This was part of a 2015 lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Giuffre.

The records, including transcripts of interviews with some of Epstein's victims and old police reports, revealed that the millionaire had surrounded himself with famous and powerful figures, some of whom have also been accused of misconduct.

""Prince Andrew's well-being is a concern for King Charles, who faces pressure from his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, to prioritize his family's needs," Chard mused."

"Despite not being close, there is no love lost between the brothers, said Chard. He believes Prince Andrew will remain at Royal Lodge until King Charles' tolerance snaps."
