Police fire at celebrities spreading arson rumors during California wildfires.

The ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles have caused widespread devastation, leaving many to ponder the cause of the destruction.

Arson investigators have been dispatched to Pacific Palisades to trace the source of the fire that destroyed numerous buildings in the area.

Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley stated on Thursday that the cause of the fire is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.

But some celebrities aren't buying it.

"ARSONIST IN LA: Henry Winkler Writes on X," actor Henry Winkler wrote on Wednesday. "May you be beaten unrecognizable! The pain you have caused!!"

Actress Alison Sweeney simply responded, "agreed."

On Thursday, Chris Brown wrote on his Instagram stories, "It appears someone is starting these fires. The evidence doesn't align."

"Peta Murgatroyd, a "Dancing with the Stars" pro, retweeted a post by Xaviaer DuRousseau that stated: "LOS ANGELES / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AT LEAST FIVE MEN ARE GOING AROUND IN SKI MASKS STARTING FIRES. KEEP AN EYE OUT.""

Elizabeth Chambers shared a screenshot of news reports about people accused of starting fires.

She wrote on her Instagram stories, "This feels like so much more than just nature."

A video posted by celebrity podcaster and neuroscientist Andrew Huberman on X allegedly depicts a group of individuals gathered around a newly-lit fire in Santa Monica.

"According to Huberman, people are lighting fires in non-burning areas of LA, as seen in a video. He stated, "We don't need more flames out here. Some of those guys lit that fire. The tree has caught fire, and the palms are catching fire.""

The Los Angeles Police Department informed Planet Chronicle Digital that they have not received any reports of arson, despite various claims.

On Thursday, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone declared that the Eaton and Palisades wildfires are fully contained. The Eaton Fire has burned 10,600 acres, while the Palisades Fire has scorched 17,234 acres.

The Acton wildfire has been contained at 40%, with the blaze covering only 348 acres, according to Marrone.

Officials announced that firefighters have halted the advance of the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills.

Over 380,000 individuals have been evacuated or are under evacuation warnings.

A multitude of celebrities, including Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Sandra Lee, Paris Hilton, and the Pratt siblings, have been displaced from their homes.
