Alan Robertson, Phil's other son, revealed on the podcast episode that he informed his wife, Lisa, that he didn't anticipate his father's reaction after disclosing his declining health.

"The outpouring of love, of support, of prayer … is almost a bit overwhelming for me." — Alan Robertson
During the brief interlude, Phil experienced a moment of relief from his pain, despite his overall condition remaining unchanged. Although Missy and I had gone down to have lunch with him, we were able to convince him to eat by bringing him good food.
Jase observed that due to his father's health, he is not hungry and must force himself to eat.
"Jase stated that his father's sudden improvement in spirits was solely due to prayers, as he had been on a decline for months."
Before the podcast episode was released, Phil was at the lowest point in the entire process.
Jase observed that he saw some improvement for the first time, and he felt a bit better. We had a good conversation, and he seemed to be in tune with it.
On Sunday, Phil went to church because he felt better after the podcast came out on Friday.
Jase said, "He didn't do or say much, but he came for an hour."
After sharing his father's diagnosis, Jase was overwhelmed with text messages, and among them, Donald Trump Jr.'s message stood out the most.
"The President-elect's son was mentioned, causing him to feel overwhelmed. He expressed gratitude for the prayers."
In the "Unashamed with the Robertson Family" podcast episode on Friday, Jase disclosed the diagnosis.
Jase stated that Phil is not doing well, and he believes he spoke on the 1,000th podcast. They were attempting to diagnose the issue, but the doctors informed them that Phil has a blood disease causing various problems.
"He's struggling due to accelerated problems with his entire body and early stages of Alzheimer's."
Jase revealed that Phil, who was a significant contributor to the "Unashamed" podcast, is unable to sit down and have a conversation due to his declining health. Additionally, Jase noted that his dad can barely walk around without crying out in pain.
"The podcast stories are missed by him," Jase stated.
The Robertson Family, consisting of Phil, Jase, Alan, and Phil's nephew, Zach Dasher, were unashamed.
Jase learned from a group of doctors that there is no cure for what Phil has.
He remarked that we were attempting to make him feel more at ease.
In the podcast episode, Jase mentioned that the Robertson family is grateful for the prayers and support being sent to Phil.
From 2012 to 2017, Phil starred on "Duck Dynasty" and founded the Duck Commander Company.
