Despite facing health challenges, Phil Robertson has the support of his family and faith to help him navigate the difficult road ahead.

Jase Robertson revealed that his father, Phil, has the "early stages of Alzheimer's" and is "unable to sit down and have a conversation" on "Unashamed with the Robertson Family."

Phil's back pain has the greatest impact on his overall well-being on a daily basis, as stated by Willie.

"We are exploring various options and medications while dealing with the pain issue caused by his back. The back pain is affecting his daily routine significantly, so we are working to alleviate it. We have consulted with numerous doctors and are currently seeking the best possible care and solutions."

The "Duck Dynasty" star did not disclose the specifics of his father's blood disorder but stated that it was causing his father to produce too much blood, making it thicker and potentially leading to the ministrokes he has had.

"Determining the exact cause of mental health issues can be challenging, especially when dealing with early signs. It can be difficult to distinguish between brain damage from stroke and Alzheimer's."

He stated that all of his deceased siblings had experienced similar issues. He also mentioned that other siblings in his family have had similar experiences.

Willie claims that Phil's "enlarged spleen may be pressing on the stomach, resulting in appetite issues."

Jase revealed on "Unashamed" that Phil was not hungry and needed to force himself to eat.

Willie stated that there are some issues that they are trying to resolve, which may be the source of the problem. It could be the pain or the blood disorder that is causing these issues, he added.

The patriarch of the family is being well-fed by them, and Willie shared that he received a message from him requesting more food, as he enjoys Willie's cooking.

"The 52-year-old shared that they make hamburgers and have prepared crawfish dishes, and they believe that they have done things that Phil has always enjoyed and eaten before. However, they are unsure if their food is as good as their mother's, but they are doing their best. Additionally, the person stated that Phil is unable to perform his usual food-related activities."

"Determining whether someone's forgetfulness is due to aging or actual damage has been a challenge."

"Miss Kay," who is both Phil's wife and Willie's mother, is currently grappling with health problems resulting from a broken foot sustained in the summer, which has impaired her mobility.

Willie expressed her desire to assist more, but for the time being, the couple of almost 60 years silently enjoys their togetherness.

"Both individuals are seated in the same location and engaged in the same activity. As a result, they are undoubtedly keeping each other company."

Although he has a condition, Phil remains "sharp as ever" in his faith and knowledge of the Bible.

"He returns to those comforting things, such as quoting the Bible and discussing his faith in God, which he hasn't lost yet," Willie stated.

"He can no longer speak fluently and teach his class, so he has temporarily stopped doing both his podcast and other activities. However, these activities remain important to him, and he continues to value them, even if he cannot always produce the words and ideas he desires."

And faith is helping the whole family through this difficult time.

"During these times, the faith component becomes more crucial," Willie stated. "Our purpose is to provide hope and a sense of purpose, which is what he lives for. He embodies this belief, even in his current situation."
