On Thanksgiving, the Modern Family cast took their children to the emergency room due to a medical scare.
Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson's children were admitted to the hospital.
On Thanksgiving, both Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen from "Modern Family" ended up in the hospital.
During the holiday, the two co-stars, who portrayed siblings on a hit sitcom, had to urgently take their children to the emergency room.
Ferguson, 49, shared on Instagram that he received a lot of parenting wisdom from @itsjuliebowen and seeing that he wasn't the only one with a kid in the ER on Thanksgiving was comforting. He also shared that his child is now fine.
Ferguson, who played Mitchell Pritchett on "Modern Family," shared a photo of him embracing his son while lying on a hospital bed. In his caption, he commended the healthcare workers at Lenox Health Hospital in New York.
He has two sons, Beckett Mercer, 4, and Sullivan ‘Sully’ Louis, 2, with his husband Justin Mikita.
After his co-star, Bowen, was hospitalized for her child, his post followed.
"No holiday is complete without a visit to the ER. (He's okay, by the way) HAPPY THANKSGIVING," she wrote in her Instagram caption, accompanied by a photo of the Emergency Room from the outside.
Bowen played Claire Dunphy in "Modern Family," from 2009 to 2020.
Neither of the "Modern Family" actors revealed the cause of their children's hospitalization.
Neither Ferguson nor Bowen responded to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
This week, Ferguson bid farewell to his cherished mother and expressed his grief and tribute on social media.
"This photo of me taking my first steps away from my mom's opened arms is one of my favorite pictures. I helped my mom take some of her last steps in recent days. We said goodbye to her on Tuesday November 25," the actor wrote in his caption.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to be with my mother during her final moments on earth. She was my only mother and I am thankful for her presence in my life. My arms will always be open to you. Rest in peace, Mom."
