Mark Wahlberg is living every guy's fantasy, but he finds onscreen romance a little strange.
Mark Wahlberg is growing his brand, Municipal, which he established in 2019.
Mark Wahlberg is living the dream in more ways than one.
Halle Berry and "Boogie Nights" star are set to star in a new Netflix movie titled "The Union" next month. In the film, he plays a blue-collar worker who gets a second chance with his high school sweetheart, who is secretly a superspy.
"Halle, her, and I have known each other for a long time, and this movie is going to be great because it's every guy's fantasy to think they got a chance with Halle Berry," he said to Planet Chronicle Digital.
He waited 25 years for her to return and then he was willing to do anything to prove himself to her. The motivation for the character was to avoid making the same mistakes again.
Wahlberg, who has been married to Rhea Durham for 15 years, confessed that it's always a bit strange to play romantically opposite anyone else, but the couple feels confident in their relationship.
""My wife is the most special woman in the world," he said, adding that it's not normal to portray romance onscreen."
Mark Wahlberg declares working with Halle Berry is "every guy's fantasy."
The four children that the couple share are Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 14.
Last week, Wahlberg posted pictures of him shopping with Ella near Clemson University in South Carolina, where she studies.
When visiting your daughter at college, you end up in Love Shack Fancy and post a photo of yourself sitting in a chair next to racks of clothes with the caption, 'Girldad'.
Ella and he were captured in a photo on Instagram, grinning broadly, with Wahlberg proudly captioning it, "This young lady is amazing."
"Dad has limited objectives in life, which include doing what he wants when he wants me to do it. And I'm okay with that, we had a fantastic time in Charleston," he said to Planet Chronicle Digital.

Wahlberg is expanding his own brand, Municipal, by opening a Pro Shop on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, California.
The brand believes that everything is achievable with hard work, regardless of one's background or starting point. This is how the brand operates every day. For Municipal, success is all about having a dream, a plan, and putting in the effort to make it happen.

Municipal was co-founded in 2019 by Wahlberg and Harry Arnett.
Arnett stated to Planet Chronicle Digital, "This project has been 15 years in the making. When Mark and I first met, we discussed the need to create a brand that would revolutionize fashion with a cool-factor style while also being versatile."
He continued, joking that he and the fitness enthusiast "share similar lifestyles," adding, "However, Mark's constant multitasking, both in and out of the gym, seamlessly performs better than anything else. Our dream for Municipal was to achieve this level of success, and here we are 15 years later, standing in the Municipal store, it's surreal."
Wahlberg stated that the objective for the brand is straightforward: "To create the best athleisure brand on the market for the average person. We aim to create something exceptional. If you're willing to spend a bit more, you'll invest in quality. And everything we do is of the highest quality, first, second, and third."
The brand is committed to giving back to the community and has plans for golf courses and basketball courts, among other projects.
The city and state employees who work for municipalities will receive a free membership or access to the fitness component of the first Municipal golf course, as it is always about giving back to those who serve their community.
A priest blessed the opening of the store, thanking the devout Catholic for being his great friend for many years.
Bishop Kevin W. Vann of the Diocese of Orange blessed Wahlberg's recently opened restaurant, Flecha.

In the new film "Flight Risk," Wahlberg portrays a wilderness pilot who transforms into a deranged assassin.
Wahlberg stated that he has no plans to assume control in the air but is thrilled about the challenge posed by the role.
"He stated that he was not interested in becoming a pilot because he disliked flying, but he had a strong interest in playing a villain again, which he hadn't done since "Fear" 30 years ago."
In "Fear," Wahlberg portrayed a character who was Reese Witherspoon's abusive boyfriend, who terrorized her and her family after she rejected him.
"Playing a villain in that movie is going to be an amazing character. People will be shocked when they see it, and it's going to be a great one this summer."
