Mario Lopez acknowledges the difficulties of collaborating with his "extraordinarily gifted" spouse.
Mario Lopez, a popular 90s star, makes his debut in a Great American Family movie titled 'Once Upon a Christmas Wish,' alongside his wife Courtney Lopez.
An even greater woman is behind every great man, as the saying goes.
Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Lopez demonstrated that idea in their first Great American Family holiday movie together, "Once Upon a Christmas Wish."
Working with a spouse can be challenging at times, as Mario acknowledged.
According to Mario, the biggest challenge is balancing the roles of husband and coworker, he said to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"When communicating certain things, it can be challenging because you may be speaking to them as an actress, but she's still listening as a wife."
"The biggest challenge I would say is you still have to navigate the balance of husband and coworker." — Mario Lopez
Regardless of the challenges the couple may encounter, Mario stated that he and his wife consistently "manage to succeed" while collaborating on multiple projects, including a radio show and co-hosting "Access Daily" on certain occasions.
"I enjoy it because she is sharp and talented," Mario gushed.
He recounted the "amazing experience" he shared with his wife and son, Dominic, while working on his first Great American Family Christmas film.
He considered launching his relationship with a project involving his family and his wife, who is incredibly talented, he added.
"On Broadway, we showcased her skills through singing and dancing, and there was some romance. My son Dominic did an impressive job, and the movie had a lot of heart. I'm thrilled with how it turned out."
In 2008, while working on the Broadway musical "A Chorus Line," the "Access Hollywood" host met his wife, Courtney.
In the heartwarming holiday movie, Mario portrayed Mayor Brian Ortega, who rediscovers his childhood Christmas wish list. Meanwhile, his childhood friend Nina Meyers, played by Courtney, returns to town for Christmas and forms a romantic connection with him during the holiday season.
For the past 15 years, the acting duo have been together, and they recently marked their 12th wedding anniversary.

The "Saved by the Bell" actor revealed the secret to his long-lasting marriage, despite the common short lifespan of Hollywood marriages.
"As the team's quarterback, she calls the plays and I just follow along," Mario joked.
"We prioritize the kids and make it work despite the schedule's craziness. I'm content with my life and grateful for my current circumstances."

Dominic, the 11-year-old child of the couple, also appeared in "Once Upon a Christmas Wish."
In previous projects, Dominic has appeared as a guest, but this is the first time he's acted in a movie, according to Mario.
"Mario told Planet Chronicle Digital that he was well-prepared and didn't require many notes. He enjoyed it and was natural. He made me proud," said Mario.
"While filming a movie, he entered a wrestling tournament in Chicago and a jujitsu tournament and won first place in both."
In 2012, Mario and Courtney got married in Punta Mita, Mexico. They have three children: Gia, Dominic, and Santino.
In 2022, the Hollywood actor was appointed as the chief creative officer of the Great American Family Channel. He joined the list of talent for the first ever Great American Family Christmas Festival, alongside "Full House" star Candace Cameron Bure and "The Wonder Years" star Danica McKellar.
'A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS' on FOX NATION offers an exclusive glimpse into the 'GORGEOUS' North Pole experience.
She detailed why the company decided to create this holiday experience.
Bure previously stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that they had long dreamed of creating a Christmas experience that could accommodate the entire family, similar to being in one of their movies.
Bure, known as the "Queen of Christmas Movies," stars in "Home Sweet Christmas," "A Christmas Less Traveled" with Eric Johnson, and "Let it Snow" with Jesse Hutch.
Great American Family Media has been featuring McKellar's writing, in addition to his acting roles, such as in "A Cinderella Christmas Ball."
At the holiday festival, attendees can capture memories with Santa, engage in ice skating activities and relish delicious cuisine and amusements.
The Christmas Festival is being held at the Northwell Park at USB Arena in New York until December 24th.
