Lainey Wilson's boyfriend of 3 years might have to propose to her.
While conversing with Bunnie Xo, the 'Yellowstone' actress joked about her bond with Devlin 'Duck' Hodges.
This year could be the year Lainey Wilson's boyfriend finally says "yes."
Bunnie Xo joked that she hoped Wilson and Devlin "Duck" Hodges would get engaged in 2025, and the country music star joked she might have to get down on one knee.
"Wilson reassured Bunnie, who was conducting an interview with the "Watermelon Moonshine" singer for CMT, saying, "No worries, buddy! No worries," as he contemplated the possibility of proposing to him. "We'll just have to wait and see!""
Bunnie remarked, "I could feel it; Duck will do it."
"I like that," Wilson added.
"I might have to propose to him. We waiting!" — Lainey Wilson
Wilson has previously joked about proposing to the former NFL player, and in May 2023, she debuted their relationship at the ACM Awards, revealing they had been secretly dating for over two years.
We're not secretly engaged," she emphasized during an interview on "The Bobby Bones Show." "Absolutely not!
"I guess I'll have to propose to him because he hasn't proposed to me," Wilson joked. "I believe an engagement should occur during a time in our lives when we can truly savor it."
Previously playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Rams, Hodges is now employed in real estate.
At the 2024 CMT Awards, Hodges acknowledged her boyfriend's good looks and expressed her excitement for his support.
Wilson told Planet Chronicle Digital that he is one of his biggest cheerleaders, always high-fiving him on the way in and out.
"Given the nature of my job, it's crucial to surround myself with individuals of that caliber. I'm grateful that he's part of my life."
Wilson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry at the age of 32 and shared her happiest moment from the past year during her performance at CBS' "New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash."
Wilson told Bunnie, "I feel like I'm exactly where I'm meant to be with so much to celebrate."
"If 2025 is similar to 2024, it will be another thrilling experience."
