Kid Rock intends to 'bring the nation together,' reveals plans for a celebration with 'similar-minded,' 'diligent citizens'
A rock musician will take the stage on the night before President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration.
Prior to his performance at President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration events this weekend, Kid Rock announced his plans to continue the celebration into 2025.
On Thursday, the musician posted a "big announcement" on social media.
"He announced in an Instagram video that he would be playing seven arena shows in the Midwest in March and April. After years of being mistreated by those in power and the left-wing media, he believed it was long overdue to celebrate with his fans."
""It's definitely time to celebrate with like-minded patriots who unapologetically love this country. Come one, come all," he continued."
On Wednesday, the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee announced that Kid Rock will perform alongside Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, and other A-listers during President-elect Trump's inauguration weekend.
On Sunday, the day before Trump's inauguration, the "Cowboy" singer will perform at the Make America Great Again Rally at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C. Along with him, Billy Ray Cyrus and Lee Greenwood are also scheduled to perform at the rally.
In July, Trump's longtime supporter, Kid Rock, performed on the final night of the Republican National Convention.
Kid Rock revised his 2000 hit "American Bad A--" with allusions to Trump. He commenced his concert by requesting the crowd to stand and raise a fist before singing along to "Fight, fight!" and "Trump, Trump!"
Trump's speech was introduced by UFC CEO and President Dana White, who preceded him. He concluded his performance by declaring, "Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for the most patriotic American badass on the planet, President Donald J. Trump."
In his speech, Trump mentioned that Kid Rock had contacted him and requested participation in the convention.
"Over the past decade, he has become a close friend of mine and is truly exceptional, as everyone adores him," Trump stated. "Despite not initially realizing his immense size, I have come to appreciate his many qualities."
