Since 2006, Nicole Kidman has been married to Urban.
A country music star, Keith Urban, has earned numerous accolades for his work, including Grammy Awards and membership in the Grand Ole Opry.
Born in New Zealand on Oct. 26, 1967, Urban later moved to Australia and was raised there.
In 1997, Urban released an album with his Nashville band, The Ranch.
Urban quickly left the group and pursued a solo career.
In 1999, Urban released his first solo album, which was titled after his name.
"Somebody Like You," which was released in 2002, marked the beginning of Urban's musical success.
In 2006, Urban received his first Grammy Award for "You'll Think of Me," marking the beginning of his four-time wins in country music.
He received Grammy Awards for the songs "Stupid Boy," "Sweet Thing," and "Til Summer Comes Around."
As Urban's career took off, his relationship attracted a lot of attention.
In 2006, Urban tied the knot with the Oscar-winning actress, Kidman. The couple frequently walk hand in hand at movie premieres, music award shows, and other significant Hollywood events.
During a challenging period in his life, Urban's wife has been vocal about her support of him.
In June 2006, we got married, but just four months later, my addictions, which I hadn't addressed, destroyed our marriage, Urban said during his speech at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in April 2024, as reported by People on June 18, 2024.
"After four months of marriage, I found myself in rehab for three months. I had no idea what the future held for us. If you want to witness true love in action, give it a try," he said. "Nic persevered through all the negative voices, including her own, and chose love. Here we are tonight, 18 years later."
Kidman and Urban have two daughters, Sunday and Faith, while Kidman also has two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor.
As a judge on "American Idol," Urban has not only achieved success but also assisted others in their pursuit of a similar path.
From season 12 to 15, the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer served as a judge on the show. He later returned as a guest mentor for the season 21 finale.
