Kate Middleton radiates joy as she shares Christmas cheer following her health struggle.

Kate Middleton is spreading Christmas cheer despite being diagnosed with cancer and recovering from major abdominal surgery.
On December 6th, the Princess of Wales hosted the fourth annual Together at Christmas caroling service. The holiday concert took place at Westminster Abbey in London, and Middleton arrived for the service alone before meeting her husband, Prince William, and their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Middleton radiated vitality and wellness as she donned a long red coat with a large black bow attached to the collar. She complemented the ensemble with pearl earrings, heeled boots, and her signature blow-out hairstyle.
The royal couple's Instagram account shared images from the Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey on Friday night, accompanied by a caption inviting people to join them in celebrating the holiday season.
The statement highlights individuals across the UK who have demonstrated love, kindness, and empathy towards others in their communities.
On Christmas Eve, the public can view the service on ITV and ITVX Official.
During the Together at Christmas event, Princess Middleton shared her rare comments about her health, responding to Paloma Faith's request to discuss the challenges she faced this year.
"I didn't realize this year would be the one I've just experienced," Middleton stated in a video recorded by Channel 5 News U.K. and posted on X, previously Twitter.
"The unplanned," Faith interjected.
"I agree, Middleton replied. Although it was unplanned, I believe many individuals have faced difficult circumstances this year."
The entire family faced challenges this year. The Middleton family's Christmas caroling service featured their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The three young royals were seen carrying notes to place on the Kindness Tree near the event.
The Together at Christmas Carol Service was eagerly anticipated as Westminster Abbey was beautifully festively decorated in photos shared by the official Instagram account of William and Kate prior to the event's start.
Last year, the Princess of Wales held her first Together at Christmas carol service, which was her last public engagement for months before she was diagnosed with cancer.
In September, she announced she had finished her round of preventative chemotherapy.
This year, King Charles III was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer, in addition to his existing health issues.
The royal family's annual retreat to Sandringham estate during December to February was a tradition established by the late Queen Elizabeth, who would usually retreat there from her father, King George VI, after his death.
The royal family, including Charles, Queen Camilla, William, Middleton, and their children, are anticipated to travel to Sandringham prior to Christmas and stay there until New Year's.
"According to Grant Harrold, who served as personal butler to Charles, the royal family's Christmas celebration will be typical, with the young family at the center of attention, just like the late queen."
At the start of December, it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had not yet received an invitation from the royal family to join them at Sandringham in Norfolk for their annual Christmas celebration.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are anticipated to spend Christmas in the US, where they reside.
Middleton posted an emotional holiday message on Instagram, announcing that a special letter will be sent to guests of her second Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey next month, reflecting on the importance of love, empathy, and the need for one another in difficult times. Additionally, she thanked attendees of fifteen Community Carol Services across the country for their efforts in helping others.
Since 2018, the Sussexes have not spent Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family, the same year they got married. The couple relocated to California in 2020.
