Kate Middleton has emerged victorious in her battle against cancer.
An undisclosed form of cancer was being fought by the Princess of Wales.
Kate Middleton has completed her chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
On Monday, the mother of three shared her health update on social media.
"The end of summer brings a sense of relief as I have completed my chemotherapy treatment, wrote the 42-year-old. The past nine months have been challenging for our family, with life changing unexpectedly and requiring us to adapt to new circumstances."
"William and I have been reminded to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. This time has brought us face to face with our own vulnerabilities in a way we have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."
Although I have completed chemotherapy, my journey to complete healing and full recovery is still a long way off, and I must take each day as it comes. However, I am eager to return to work and participate in more public engagements in the coming months. Despite everything that has happened, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and a greater appreciation for life.
"We are deeply grateful for the support we have received and have found great strength from those who are helping us during this difficult time. The kindness, empathy, and compassion of everyone has been truly humbling. To those who are also facing their own cancer journey, I stand with you, hand in hand. Through the darkness, there is always a glimmer of hope, so let that light shine bright."
