Kate Middleton and Prince William's Christmas card provides a glimpse into their family life after a challenging year.
Earlier this month, the Princess of Wales held her annual 'Together at Christmas' concert.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have made their holiday card public following a challenging year.
A video on their official Instagram page depicted a card resting on a table in front of a Christmas tree, with snowflakes falling digitally over the footage.
The message inside read, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year," accompanied by a photo of The Prince and Princess of Wales with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
This year, instead of sharing a new photo for their annual Christmas card, the family chose a pre-existing image from the September video announcing the end of Middleton's chemotherapy treatment.
"Despite completing chemotherapy, my journey to complete healing and full recovery is still a long way off, and I must continue to take each day as it comes, the princess stated in a heartfelt video. However, I am eagerly anticipating returning to work and engaging in more public activities in the upcoming months."
After taking a break for cancer treatment, Middleton has gradually been adding appearances to her schedule.
She held her annual "Together at Christmas" concert, which she started in 2021 to recognize those who made exceptional efforts in their communities during the pandemic.
At the event, the man in a long red coat with a black bow at the collar appeared cheerful.
During the event, she made a rare comment about her health while speaking with pop star Paloma Faith.
"I didn't realize this year would be the one I've just experienced," Middleton stated in a video recorded by Channel 5 News U.K. and uploaded to X, formerly Twitter.
"The unplanned," Faith interjected.
"I agree, Middleton replied. Although it was unplanned, I believe many individuals have faced difficult circumstances this year."
This year, King Charles III, Prince William's father, has also been fighting cancer.
During an interview in Cape Town, South Africa, Prince William openly discussed the difficulties the family had faced in November.
William stated in People Magazine that the year has been difficult and likely the hardest of his life.
""I'm proud of my wife and father for handling the things they've done, but from a personal family perspective, it's been challenging," William said."
