Jon Bon Jovi's Presence on Nashville Bridge Was Unplanned, Yet He Saved a Woman's Life: "Thank God for Jon"
The rocker was 'guided' by The War & Treaty, with whom he worked shortly before the incident.
The War & Treaty described Jon Bon Jovi's presence on the bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, where he helped save a woman in crisis, as appearing like divine intervention.
Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr., the country duo, thanked Jon Bon Jovi on the red carpet at the People's Choice Country Awards Thursday night.
The music video for "The People's House," a collaboration between Bon Jovi and The War & Treaty, was being filmed on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville when the incident occurred.
"After finishing shooting a music video, we hugged Jon and left. Twenty minutes later, something happened. Michael said that Jon wasn't originally supposed to walk the bridge, but his team suggested it."

"Faith guides us all, and Jon's leadership is a testament to this. Thank God for Jon," he said.
An unidentified woman was saved from jumping off a bridge thanks to the efforts of the "Livin on a Prayer" singer, who was commended by local authorities.
"Metro Nashville Police Department officials thanked @jonbonjovi and his team for assisting a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped convince her to safely come off the ledge over the Cumberland River."
"All of us must work together to ensure our safety," said Chief John Drake.
Bon Jovi was also thrilled to work with The War & Treaty on their song together, calling him "extremely important."

A woman's life was saved by Jon Bon Jovi, who was not supposed to be on the bridge at the time.
The country duo who sang "Can I Get an Amen" at the People's Choice Country Awards expressed gratitude for their nominations at the award show, including the group/duo of 2024 and the collaboration song of 2024, "Hey Driver," with Zach Bryan.
Tanya stated, "We do this for the fans, and it brings us immense joy to know that they chose and voted for us to be here."
