John Stamos' spouse quips that he "dated everyone else" before settling down with her.
The 'Full House' actor and his spouse have a 6-year-old son in common.
John Stamos and his spouse, Caitlin McHugh, maintain a lighthearted approach to life.
In 2018, the couple got married and maintain a strong relationship by spending time together, as McHugh jokingly revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"McHugh, who stars in "The Invisible Raptor," revealed their secret to a successful marriage in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital. They joked that their long-standing relationship is due to good communication and their shared experiences in Hollywood. However, McHugh also suggested that their bond may be unique because their partner has already gone through everyone else."
Over the years, the "Full House" star has had relationships with several high-profile women, including Paula Abdul, Denise Richards, Teri Copley, and Denise Richards, before becoming a family man and marrying Rebecca Romijn.
Stamos, 61, and Romijn were married from 1998 until 2004.
In 2018, McHugh, 38, married him and they welcomed their first child, Billy, the same year.
Caitlin McHugh Stamos describes her son as a "hambone and a half just like his dad."
Billy is a hambone and a half, just like his dad, and has not fallen far from the tree at all, she said, explaining that he is in dance class and had his first recital last summer.
"He loves making kids laugh and has a lot of admirers. Despite his athletic abilities, he doesn't understand our lack of interest in sports. However, we support his choices and are happy that entertaining is a part of him."
Since McHugh was 4, parenting the 6-year-old has been "wonderful." Two and 3 were like crazy.
"There's a lot of good communication and stuff. But really, I wonder if it's just that he went through everyone else already. I was the last one." — Caitlin McHugh
""I was constantly overwhelmed with my toddler's suicide-murder watch, but now he's like my little buddy and best friend. I could take a place and hang out," she joked."
She stated that the two can now engage in profound discussions, but the 6-year-old may still "come and fart in my face or whatever, but he's amusing."
She said that he is a blend of her husband and herself, but he has his own personality and life experiences. Getting to know him is the greatest thing.
During the holidays, McHugh quipped that her family is heading "out of dodge" for a Christmas in Paris.
John Stamos' wife provides a humorous response to the secret behind their successful marriage.
She explained that typically they host a lot of things here, but this year she wants to go elsewhere.
After seeing ads for Christmas markets on social media, she said, "Now I want to go to Europe for Christmas and thank God we're doing it."
McHugh admitted that she left retirement to portray a character in the horror-comedy "The Invisible Raptor," which parodies the "Jurassic Park" franchise.
"She said of the movie, which is out this month, "I just want everyone to lose weight from laughing, regardless of the amount of sweets and popcorn they consume during the movie. The film is not about learning anything or solving big societal issues; it's just a fun way to escape reality on Spielberg County.""
Since childhood, McHugh has been readying herself for this role, immersing herself in Michael Crichton's books.
"In fifth grade, I devoured every Michael Crichton book, including 'Jurassic Park.' The thick books were a challenge, but I persevered. Little did I know that my reading would lead me to 'Invisible Raptor.'"
Caitlin McHugh Stamos reveals that her new comedy, 'The Invisible Raptor,' is a heartfelt tribute to Steven Spielberg.
The "Jurassic" movies are obsessed with by the director, herself, and everyone else involved.
"It's evident that the film is a love letter to Spielberg, as she stated. She feels that the love for all those movies is reflected in the film as well."
She joked that she didn't need to rewatch the "Jurassic" movies to research for the film, but she did some of them. She meant that "Jurassic Park" is a classic and it is so good, and it was completely honest and true. She also read all the books and was a fun geek.
She said she met the filmmakers at Comic-Con.
"I'm just a nerd, really. In preparing for this movie, I was fortunate that they had written it specifically for me. They said they had me in mind while writing it, so I was able to play myself."
After "The Invisible Raptor," McHugh stated that she has no immediate acting plans.
"She came out of retirement to do the movie because the filmmakers were good friends, but she is now back in retirement. However, she added a caveat, saying, "If there's an 'Invisible Raptor 2,' I will come out for that.""
McHugh, who has acted in "Law & Order: SVU," "The Vampire Diaries," and "Rescue Me," stated that she spends most of her time on her nonprofit, podcast, and bracelet company. "As a mom, I feel fulfilled with those things. I believe one actor or one-and-a-half little actors in our household is enough. I'm not sure if I need to continue acting. The world already has enough actors."
