"The Holiday Junkie" featured Hewitt's daughters pursuing their acting careers, just like their mother.

Hewitt's mother passed away in real life, and "The Holiday Junkie" held sentimental value for the actress as it honored her late mom.
Brian Hallisay, Hewitt's real-life husband, portrays their on-screen romance in movies. The couple first met on the set of Lifetime's film "Love Bites" and got married in November 2013. They have three children together: Autumn, 11, Atticus, 9, and Aidan, 3.
Her husband and she encountered difficulties while working together, as the "9-1-1" star admitted.
Our biggest challenge was deciding who would take care of our children while we were involved in everything. This caused us to worry greatly about the situation.
Hewitt stated that they received help with childcare while working on set. She expressed her gratitude for the 11 years of marriage with her spouse.
"Falling in love with your husband again is not a common occurrence, but I found myself doing just that while watching a movie. The picture of me looking at him on the screen made me realize how much I love him, and I ended the movie feeling even more in love with him than when we started. It was a wonderful gift to have been able to relive that moment after 11 years."
Hewitt's daughter received her Screen Actors Guild card at the same age as Hewitt.
Her kids found her role in the horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" amusing.
Hewitt laughed as she thought it was really cool that my character didn't die.

"I've always been a worrywart," she admitted. "I was always worried... I had so much fun on the job, and I thought it would be my last or that people would kick me out of Hollywood and not let me act anymore."
"I was always worried about being dorky, but I enjoyed it and was present. However, I wasted a lot of time worrying. I think I would tell her that it will work out, and she will still be allowed to do things as she gets older. It's okay, and she's fine."
