Jelly Roll is giving back to his fans.
On Tuesday, the country music star posted a video on Twitter, announcing that he was giving away free food to anyone who visited Gus's Fried Chicken in Little Rock, Arkansas.
"Anyone in downtown Little Rock can get free food," he stated in the video.
The "Need a Favor" singer began the video by reminiscing about his early career days in Little Rock, where he would perform at small venues such as Stickyz Rock'n'Roll Chicken Shack. He expressed his pride in having sold out the 200-person venue.
"The next time I visited, I played at the Rev Room, which is located behind me. Adjacent to it is Gus's Chicken, where we always ate after playing. I visited that place ten times. If you visit Gus's Chicken in Little Rock, Arkansas today, the food is on me. Come and enjoy a meal."
Jelly Roll revealed to his followers that he decided to provide free meals to the community in Little Rock as a way to pay tribute to the sold-out show he held at Simmons Bank Arena, with a capacity of 18,000 attendees.
In the video, he advised aspiring artists to persist, citing his own journey as proof that it's possible to succeed even in the early stages of a career.
"I played Stickyz 10 times and the Rev Room 20 times. Keep playing, baby. Keep playing, baby!"
Jelly Roll has revealed in previous interviews that he wrote many songs while in jail as a young man.
The actor, who was guest hosting the talk show in Fallon's place, was told by the speaker that he was incarcerated as a juvenile for some horrible decisions and got caught in the cycle, going in and out of prison for a decade. The birth of his daughter made him want to change his life.

In 2003, the musician started concentrating on his music career and worked consistently until his breakthrough in 2022 with "Son of a Sinner" and "Need a Favor." Since then, Jelly Roll has won three CMT Awards, one CMA Award, a People's Choice Award, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
