Jason Aldean states that the Donald Trump presidency signifies a new era for America.
President Donald Trump's Liberty Inaugural Ball will feature a performance by Jason Aldean.
Jason Aldean is prepared for President Donald Trump's new "period" of politics.
Trump's inauguration will be a significant event for our country, and Aldean will perform a 30-minute set at the Liberty Ball.
"During a "CBS Mornings" appearance, the country music star stated that the past few years have been highly divisive and full of events, and he hopes that this marks the start of a new era for the country, allowing it to get back on track."
"I think the thing with President Trump is, I think he wants to do great things for the American people and the country. And he's a guy that I feel like when he says something, he tries to get it done." — Jason Aldean
Aldean expressed concern about the country's current state, particularly as a parent. Nevertheless, the musician believes that Donald Trump aims to accomplish great things during this new era.
Aldean stated that he believes President Trump aims to achieve great things for the American people and the country. He also expressed his admiration for Trump's determination to turn his words into actions.
"Politicians often tell things to make it sound good, but he's different. He genuinely wants to accomplish his goals."
Trump's outspokenness appealed to Aldean, who has publicly supported him throughout the years.
He wasn't the same guy. He was a guy who spoke my language and put it in layman's terms for me a little bit, as he explained on the morning show.
In 2013, Trump faced challenges in attracting celebrities to participate in the swearing-in and post-inaugural events, which were overshadowed by nationwide protests and featured more famous entertainers. In contrast, Obama's second inaugural ceremony featured performances from Beyoncé, James Taylor, and Kelly Clarkson, as well as a star-studded audience.
The 2017 inauguration of Trump included the Rockettes, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and 16-year-old "America's Got Talent" singer Jackie Evancho performing.
In 2023, Aldean faced criticism for his song "Try That in a Small Town," which was popular among his fans. The music video, which went viral, was seen as promoting violence and guns due to its lyrics and footage of riots and flag burning.
Jason Aldean declares his pride in America despite its occasional deviations.
"The "You Make it Easy" singer previously stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that people are often hesitant to speak their minds due to fear of losing a job or friends. They may be concerned about not getting work again or facing other negative consequences. People tend to align themselves with politically correct opinions, even if they are not entirely right. The singer emphasized that it is important to speak the truth, even if it may not be politically correct."
Aldean stated that "Try That In a Small Town" was a means for him to creatively convey his emotions, similar to all his records.
"I can't grab my phone, go on Instagram, and rant about my feelings for 30 minutes," he said. "Music is how I express myself, and it resonated with many people who felt the same way. The song was successful."
