Jane Seymour is forced to evacuate her Malibu home as wildfire flames burn "extremely close."
Firefighters in action: Seymour shares photos of blaze being put out
Jane Seymour made it out of the line of fire.
On Wednesday, the 73-year-old actress shared photos and videos on Instagram of firefighters battling a wildfire, including one that showed the fire's proximity to her home.
"Despite the Franklin Fire's proximity to our home in Malibu, we are grateful for the firefighters who are risking their lives to protect our community."
She urged her followers to view the fire as a symbol of our shared strength, bravery, resilience, and compassion, and to continue supporting and uplifting one another.
"Thank you to everyone fighting the flames and keeping us safe. Your courage is extraordinary," she concluded.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with well-wishes and positive thoughts.

Another fan expressed gratitude for the safety of you and your family, and offered their thoughts and prayers for those affected by the fire.
The Franklin Fire, which started around 10:50 p.m. Monday north of Pepperdine University, has expanded to over 4,000 acres. As of Wednesday afternoon, the fire was only 7% contained.
Dick Van Dyke and Mira Sorvino, like other Malibu celebrities, were forced to evacuate and updated their fans on their safety.
""We safely evacuated with our animals except for Bobo who escaped as we were leaving, and we're praying for his safety and the survival of our community in Serra Retreat amid these terrible fires," Van Dyke wrote in a Facebook post shared on Tuesday."
He later shared a video of his cat Bobo, captioning it, "I hope Bobo is doing well."
Sorvino posted on X, previously known as Twitter, that her family "fled in the middle of the night," and she used the occasion to convey "All my Malibu friends and neighbors, I hope you are safe."
