De Matteo stated, "This man invited us into his trailer individually and handed out $30,000 checks to each of us. We were puzzled and asked, 'What's the purpose of this?' He replied, 'We reached an agreement for DVDs, but you were not included,'"
Adriana La Cerva, played by De Matteo, earned her an Emmy Award win and a Golden Globe nomination after landing the role in "The Sopranos," which was her big break.

"He had a habit of being constant," de Matteo stated.

De Matteo found it difficult to reflect on her time on the iconic TV show because "it has been so long," but she cherishes her memories of working on set.
"On set, it was amazing," she said. "It was truly one-of-a-kind. I couldn't help but feel that nothing could compare to it. After leaving, I couldn't find the motivation to do anything else."
De Matteo stated, "I didn't want to continue working as I felt like I had accomplished everything. I had big dreams of working with renowned filmmakers like Martin Scorsese and Italian directors. However, after collaborating with David Chase, I realized that my aspirations were no longer important. I felt content with the characters and the best I had achieved."
Today, the actress has introduced a streetwear brand, Ultrafree, that supports "freedom of expression."
De Matteo revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital that her brand's concept was not driven by politics, but rather, it aimed to bring people together regardless of their political views.
"She stated that the topic at hand was about us as individuals and as humans, and that politics should take a backseat while we collectively acknowledge the ongoing battle against truth, humanity, and what truly unites us."
"There are more things that unite us than divide us."
