Jack Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's son, discussed how his father's working-class background contributed to his success as a rock star.

The lead singer of Black Sabbath, a 75-year-old musician, was born to factory worker parents in an impoverished neighborhood in Birmingham, England, and rose to fame despite his humble beginnings.

In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Osbourne, 38, revealed how Ozzy had instilled the importance of hard work in his children through the launch of their new platform, Osbourne Media House.

"My dad's work ethic was unknowingly passed on to me, as he is a hardworking individual who has always been that way. His family background is very blue-collar," Osbourne stated.

He continued, "As a factory worker, he instilled in me the importance of having a strong work ethic. He always emphasized the need to show up on time, give my all, and persevere through challenges. His famous saying, 'If at first you don't succeed, try, try again,' has stayed with me throughout my life."

Osbourne recalled him saying that to him my whole life.

Ozzy's son, Osbourne, a father of four, shared that he is imparting the values he learned from his father to his own kids.

"Osbourne advised his kids to always strive for improvement, rather than aiming for perfection in their jobs."

John, Ozzy's father, worked night shifts as a toolmaker at General Electric, while Lilian, his mother, worked day shifts at a car components factory.

At 15, Ozzy left high school and initially tried to follow in his parents' footsteps. He worked as an apprentice toolmaker to learn his father's trade and took on a job as a car horn tuner at the factory where his mother worked.

Before pursuing a career in music, Ozzy worked as an apprentice plumber, construction laborer, and slaughterhouse worker. In 1968, he formed Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and Geezer Butler, who also came from Birmingham and aspired to music careers instead of the factory work that was common in their hometown.

In the 1970s, Black Sabbath was one of the world's largest rock bands and is known for creating heavy metal music.

In 1979, Ozzy was fired from the band and subsequently launched a successful solo career, releasing 13 studio albums, seven of which have been certified multi-platinum.

In his interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Osbourne discussed his upbringing as the child of a renowned rock musician.

"Although it was normal for me, it was different from the experiences of other kids I went to school with."

He continued, "Our travels were filled with craziness and chaos. The noise level was intense everywhere we went. Despite the chaos, it was an exciting experience. I had the opportunity to do some incredible things."

""Knowing me, I excel in structure," Osbourne stated."

"When I don't have it, I have a bit of 'self-will run riot,'" he admitted. "But, yeah, it was fun."

Ozzy, who has reunited with Black Sabbath multiple times since his departure, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 2007 and received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002.

In recent years, Ozzy has faced several health challenges, including Parkinson's disease, significant operations, and COVID-19.

In 2023, Ozzy announced his retirement from touring due to ongoing physical ailments, including three operations, stem cell treatments, physical therapy, and hybrid assistive limb treatment, which utilizes a robotic exoskeleton to enhance movement.

Osbourne stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that his father is diligently striving to achieve his goal of performing at his induction ceremony, despite his health challenges.

"Since the nomination, he has been intensifying his physical therapy and is extremely hopeful to perform well."

"He was thrilled for him, saying, "He's been in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Black Sabbath for a long time, and he's finally achieved his dream of being inducted as a solo artist. And to top it all off, he's now part of an elite group of only 29 people who have been inducted twice.""

Osbourne stated that his father has been undergoing a lot of physical therapy in preparation for the ceremony because "the physical demands of performing are challenging for him."

Despite his ailments, Osbourne observed that the "Crazy Train" singer's vocal abilities remain unchanged.

"Osbourne stated that he has consistently practiced vocals for the past five years, even while still recovering."

"His voice is so accurate," he said. "I believe people would be truly amazed. For instance, I entered the house the other day and he was practicing his singing lesson, and I was like, 'Wow!' I was like, 'Is that a recording or is that him singing?' And no, he was singing."

Ozzy Osbourne, who married Sharon Osbourne in 1982, shares Jack, Aimee, and Kelly, who are 40 and 39 years old, with her.

Sharon, 71, initially gained recognition as Ozzy's manager after he left Black Sabbath. She later found success as a talk show host and judge on reality competition shows such as "The X-Factor" and "America's Got Talent."

Jack and Kelly gained fame as household names after appearing on their parents' hit MTV reality series "The Osbournes," which premiered on March 5, 2002.

"The Osbournes," which premiered in 2002, became MTV's most-watched series and won an Emmy for outstanding reality program. The show ran for four seasons before ending in March 2005.

Since "The Osbournes" ended, Osbourne has worked as a producer and TV host of various shows, including "Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie," "Ozzy & Jack's World Detour," and "Portals to Hell."

The Osbournes relaunched their family podcast "The Osbournes Podcast" after a five-year hiatus in September. In April, they debuted their new platform, Osbourne Media House, which offers all Osbourne family entertainment.

In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Jack revealed the motivation behind Osbourne Media House.

""We heavily depend on networks and individuals to secure employment, yet I questioned why we don't leverage our own platform and reach for unification and optimization," he stated."

He continued, "I wrote a three-year plan for the company and started developing the site and podcasting stuff about a year ago."

The Osbournes Family Podcast, Ozzy and Billy Morrison's new podcast "The Madhouse Chronicles," and Sharon Osbourne's latest paranormal podcast "Ghosts & Grit" are all available on the platform.

The Osbourne Media House will be the exclusive platform for all episodes of the original MTV series, which can be watched in 4K by subscribing to the platform. This month, the Osbourne family is introducing a new show titled "The Basement Tapes," where they will rewatch and provide commentary on each episode of "The Osbournes."

Despite his health struggles, Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack Osbourne states that his father's voice remains "spot on."

"We view Osborne Media House as a direct way to engage our fan base," Osbourne stated. "It allows us to connect with individuals who are fans of my dad, 'The Osbournes,' and my paranormal work, cutting out networks and intermediaries in the process."

"We will eventually add more of our owned items to the platform, as we aim to keep everything in one location."

""This is something we're constructing, and it's not going away anytime soon," Osbourne stated."
