In April, Morgan Wallen admitted guilt after tossing a chair from a Nashville rooftop bar.
According to Fox 17, Wallen was charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and was sentenced to seven days at a DUI education center and two years of supervised probation by Judge Cynthia Chappell.
Wallen's charges were reduced from felonies to misdemeanors during a hearing Tuesday.
"On December 24th, 2024, Morgan Wallen appeared in Davidson County Circuit Court with Judge Cynthia Chappell presiding and entered a conditional plea under Tennessee's Diversion Statute, which does not result in a conviction. The plea agreement with the Office of the District Attorney requires Wallen to spend seven days at a DUI Education Center, be on probation for two years, pay a $350 fine and court fees. Upon successful completion of his probation, the charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement."
"Mr. Wallen has been fully cooperative with authorities for the past eight months, directly communicating and expressing regret to those affected. He continues to be dedicated to making a positive impact through his music and foundation."
On April 7, a chair was thrown off the sixth floor of the Eric Church-backed bar Chief's in Nashville by Wallen.
At the time, a representative for the "Whiskey Glasses" singer stated that they were fully cooperating with the investigation, according to Planet Chronicle Digital.
He was initially accused of a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct and three felony counts of recklessly endangering someone with a deadly weapon.
"Worrick Robinson, Wallen's lawyer, stated to reporters after the first hearing that the case was complex and would require subpoenas and witnesses to resolve. Despite Wallen's absence, Robinson emphasized the complexity of the case."
Wallen was performing on his "One Night at a Time" tour at the time.
Robinson stated that Morgan is doing well amidst the legal drama. He is very busy, which is good. As a family man, this concert is especially special for him because his family lives close.
"I believe his happiest moments are when his home is filled with family, nieces, son, and sisters. Therefore, I consider the present time to be a good one."
In October, Wallen concluded his "One Night at a Time" tour in Charlotte, North Carolina, after the chair-throwing incident.
