In his 40-year music career, Jon Bon Jovi is most proud of: "It's beyond words."
The MusiCares Person of the Year award was given to Jon Bon Jovi, who is 61 years old.
Jon Bon Jovi is celebrating a major career milestone.
On Friday night, the renowned rock musician was recognized as the MusiCares Person of the Year for his exceptional accomplishments in the music industry and charitable endeavors.
""Being here for 40 years and about to release our 18th album is something we're proud of. We're excited to celebrate this milestone with a documentary," he said."
The singer of "Livin’ on a Prayer" announced his upcoming four-part docuseries, "Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story," set to air in April.

During the Los Angeles Convention Center music event, Bon Jovi expressed his excitement most about what he was anticipating.
"I can't believe I'll get to see my idols and their idols perform our songs tonight. It's surreal."
At the MusiCares event, the music icon collaborated with his dear friend and fellow New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen on the song "Who Says You Can’t Go Home."
Several days after his mother Adele's death, Springsteen made an appearance. Although the cause of her death has not been disclosed, Springsteen had previously spoken out about her struggle with Alzheimer's disease in July 2021 during his "Springsteen on Broadway" concert residency.
Sammy Hagar, Van Halen's former lead singer, sang "You Give Love a Bad Name," while Wolfgang Van Halen honored Bon Jovi by performing "Have a Nice Day."
Performing Bon Jovi's song is a "ridiculous honor" for Wolfgang Van Halen.
On the MusiCares red carpet, Hagar shared with Planet Chronicle Digital his favorite memory with the fellow rocker.
"We toured Europe with Van Halen in 1995 and performed at stadiums across the continent. My favorite part of the tour was seeing Jon on the side of the stage every night, watching our show and giving me a lot of vibes."

In several shows, Bon Jovi honored his celebrity companions at his table in the crowd. He was accompanied by his wife, Dorothea, Paul McCartney and his wife, Nancy, Springsteen, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and actor-singer Rita Wilson.
Before the MusiCares event, Bon Jovi's band members shared with Planet Chronicle Digital their thoughts on the significance of the night, as their frontman was honored with a lifetime achievement.
"Our brother John, who has been with us for 40 years, is the catalyst for our family's unity and longevity," his band members said.
"The journey has been incredible, as Bon Jovi would say, 'we're halfway there.'"
The group of band members, including Everett Bradley, Tico Torres, David Bryan, Hugh McDonald, and John Shanks, were present as Bon Jovi celebrated a significant achievement.
At the MusiCares event, Shania Twain and other musicians expressed their pride in Bon Jovi and how honored they were to perform his song "Bed of Roses."

"Twain told Planet Chronicle Digital that he believes the man who wrote the classic ballad is a talented artist. The song is so great that it could be a hit in any genre. Twain is excited to sing the song, and he hopes to make the original artist proud. He admires the artist's strong work ethic and commitment to their craft."
"Every night, I am grateful for the blessings in my life," Bon Jovi said.
