In a 2021 interview, Evans, known for portraying Krystle Carrington on "Dynasty" from 1981 to 1988, shared her experience on the beloved soap opera.
""During the past three years of 'Dynasty,' I had no days off due to its success. Although I am grateful for the opportunity, I knew I wanted more from my life. Unaware that the show was ending, I would have continued for another year if I had known," Evans shared with Closer Weekly."
"Although I hadn't anticipated the terrible withdrawal, I realized how much my family meant to me after being so close for so long. I felt an overwhelming sadness upon leaving them."
Evans expressed gratitude towards producer Aaron Spelling for giving her a chance to play Carrington when she first started.
""At nearly 40, I was chosen by Aaron Spelling instead of a younger actress, and Joan Collins was also cast, proving that age is just a number in Hollywood," she exclaimed."
Evans, having been married twice, also shared about being single and discovering contentment within herself.
"Being alone can be so delightful," she said. "I'm rich because I have family and friends all around me. My sister is on one side, my nephew on the other, and a dear friend just moved one block away. We don't need a man to be happy, although we could be with one, but I'm content as I am."
