In 2025, Ryan Seacrest aims to accomplish a single monumental goal related to 'Wheel of Fortune'.
In September, Pat Sajak's hosting duties were assumed by Ryan Seacrest.
In his first year hosting "Wheel of Fortune," Ryan Seacrest has set a high goal for 2025.
In a recent interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the new host of "WoF," who replaced Pat Sajak in September, shared his aspirations for the upcoming episodes.
"The "American Idol" host expressed his admiration and appreciation for the show's impact on him and the country during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on Dec. 6 at the Intuit Dome. He also shared his enthusiasm for giving away money and his goal of distributing a million dollars in 2025."
In June 2023, Sajak announced his departure from the show. A week later, it was announced that Seacrest would be replacing him as host in Season 42.
Seacrest bade farewell to Sajak on social media after his final episode aired earlier this year.
"Sajak wrote on Instagram, congratulating Pat on his successful run with Wheel of Fortune. He praised Pat's dedication, charm, and wit, which have made the show a beloved part of American television for decades. Sajak also highlighted Pat's iconic partnership with Vanna and the countless wonderful memories they've created for viewers. He noted that Pat has set the standard for hosts everywhere and wished him all the best for his future endeavors. The post included a photo of Sajak and White."
Ryan Seacrest aims to accomplish one monumental "Wheel of Fortune" objective by 2025.
In April, Sajak recorded his last episode and gave an emotional farewell address.
"It's time to say goodbye," he said. "Before I go, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to all of you watching. It has been an honor to be welcomed into millions of homes for countless nights, years, and decades."
"Sajak stated that he believed the privilege of hosting the daily half-hour show came with the responsibility to ensure it remained a safe space for family fun, free from social issues, politics, and embarrassing moments."
"Slowly, it transformed into more than just a place," he stated. "A location where children acquired their alphabets, where individuals from different nations improved their English proficiency, where families, friends, and neighbors gathered, and successive generations were brought together."
""It was an honor to play a small part in everything," Sajak said, thanking them for letting him into their lives."
Seacrest is a media mastermind who will handle "Wheel" viewers ahead of his debut, as brand expert Eric Schiffer exclusively told Planet Chronicle Digital.
Ryan has a sixth sense of how to adjust his energy to build audience trust, and I believe he can use the techniques mastered on 'Idol' to increase engagement and grow the audience.
"In contrast to "American Idol," which features a lot of interaction, "The Voice" is mostly a passive show. It needs to attract younger audiences."
"Schiffer stated that Ryan's challenge is to establish enough trust early on to allow him to fully utilize his skills to expand the brand and audience without alienating existing fans, which will require trust and comfort on Ryan's part. The focus, according to Schiffer, remains on the game itself."
