On Monday, the former "Music Man" costars had a night out together in Santa Monica, California. The pair, who have been at the center of romance rumors, seemingly confirmed their relationship as they held hands during their stroll. One day prior, the Marvel star reportedly attended one of the final performances of Foster's "Once Upon a Mattress" in Los Angeles, according to People.
Jackman and Foster co-starred in "Music Man," which ran on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023. While promoting the musical, the two frequently praised each other's performances and work ethic.
At the 2024 Drama Desk Awards, People reported that Foster praised his costar as "one of the greatest guys ever" and an "incredible" performer.
After filing for divorce from her husband, a Tony Award-winning actress, months later, the couple went on a romantic outing.
In September 2023, Jackman and his wife of 27 years, Deborra-lee Furness, announced their separation in a joint statement.
"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," they said in a statement to People. "Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
"Our family will always be our top priority. We approach this new chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We thank you for respecting our privacy as we navigate this transition in our lives."

During a May 2024 film screening, Furness revealed that she has been learning about herself and is embracing change and development.
The Australia native confessed that her "year of evolution" has been "scary" and "every other adjective."

Furness revealed that relying on friends has aided her in overcoming challenging situations, such as her separation from Jackman.
Furness stated that all women should consider their girlfriends as essential in life.
Furness and Jackman, both from Australia, first crossed paths in 1995 while filming the 10-part Australian TV series "Corelli."
