Heidi Montag's Pacific Palisades home destroyed by wildfire, she reaches No. 1 on iTunes.
Currently, on iTunes, the No. 1 spot for songs and albums is occupied by Montag's 2010 album 'Superficial'.
Despite the possibility of losing their Pacific Palisades home to the ongoing California wildfires, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's fan base remains unwavering.
The couple was supported by fans who propelled Montag's 2010 debut album to the top of the iTunes charts, with it currently holding the No. 1 position for both song and album.
Pratt admitted that he had become increasingly interested in his wife's music after their home burned down on Friday. He shared this news with his TikTok followers, stating that it was the best news he had received in a week. He thanked everyone who had streamed Montag's album, 'Superficial,' which had recently reached the top 50 on iTunes for the first time.
"Superficial," the second single from the album released 15 years ago, did not chart.
Pratt's TikTok video led to his album reaching No. 2 on the iTunes charts, and he couldn't contain his excitement. 'Go to iTunes now and let's get to number 1!' he exclaimed. 'We'll be famous forever, and our kids will look back on us with pride. We'll be in the history books,' he joked. 'No one will know about the fire that destroyed our house and left us with nothing. They'll just see us as a pop superstar who topped the charts,' he added.
In 12 hours, Pratt uploaded over 40 videos to TikTok, addressing both supporters and critics.
"Let's make it clear. If I appear to be the most unstable and reckless person on this app, I am. Let's just get that out of the way. I have lost my mind," he said to the camera, confessing that all he could think about were the impulsive purchases he had made over the years. "I am managing it here because I have two kids and I want them to go to college and have a life. This is the epitome of crashing out, okay?"
Gunnar and Ryker are two sons born to the stars of "The Hills."
In a different video, Pratt stated, "Since 2007, I've been pretending to be competent. However, I've learned that pretending doesn't make it real, especially when everything falls apart."
Montag and Pratt lost their multimillion-dollar home in the Pacific Palisades to the fire, which they confirmed last week. The couple, among the first celebrities to announce their evacuation, witnessed their home's destruction in real-time thanks to security cameras on the property.
The couple's representative did not promptly respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiry for comment.
The Palisades Fire is only 11% contained, while the Eaton and Hurst fires are 100% contained.
