Heidi Klum attributes her increased socializing at age 50 to her "younger husband": "Do I look the oldest here?"
In 2019, Heidi Klum, who married Tom Kaulitz, 34, attributed her children's growing up as a reason for her decision to tie the knot.
Heidi Klum is not "over" calling it a night at 9:30 p.m.
In a recent interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Klum, 50, revealed that she's venturing out more now than she did in her 20s.
"In '94, I relocated to America with a business-oriented mindset," Klum stated. "Having originated from Germany, I arrived in America with the determination to succeed."
The German-American model was 21 when she arrived in the United States. Klum stated that she "did not want to fail and return with my luggage."
"Although it may not have been a failure, for me, becoming a model was my dream and I really wanted to pursue it. So, I didn't go out. However, I was determined to have a career, so I focused on that."
At 31, Heidi welcomed her first child, Leni, with Flavio Briatore.
Seal adopted Leni when she was 5, and the former couple later welcomed Henry, Johan, and Lou, according to People magazine.
"My children are now 19, 18, 17, and 14," Klum stated. "As a result, the days of me retiring to bed at 9:30 are a thing of the past."
Heidi stated, "Having four kids keeps you awake at all times because, trust me, with four children, there's always one - either they have a fever or a bad dream, something is always happening."
When raising her young children, Klum rarely attended work events and was seldom seen at after-parties.
"I believe it's possible that my younger husband, Tom Kaulitz, 34, is a factor in my older friends' ages," Klum stated. "I'm not sure, but it's just enjoyable to go to a club and listen to music."
Heidi stated that music has the ability to "set the tone" and "evoke emotions." Recently, the former supermodel released a cover of Corey Hart's hit, "Sunglasses At Night," alongside DJ Tiësto.
"Now I'm heading to the club and I scan the crowd, wondering if I'm the oldest person here. I think to myself, 'I might be,'" she joked. "But then I spot Tiësto and realize he's five years older than me, so I feel relieved."
Depending on the city she is in, Klum recovers differently after a night out.
Heidi started by recalling the last time they went out was during Formula One in Las Vegas. "Tiësto is performing from 1:30 to 3:30, and then we attended another party after that," she continued.
When most people, who refer to themselves as vampires, react to the rising sun by quickly returning home and going back to bed, I, on the other hand, am thrilled because I was able to stay up all night and am excited about it.
