Guy Fieri believes that more should be done for veterans, military personnel, and first responders.
The Tailgate Party in Flavortown by Guy Fieri takes place on Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans.
America's "unsung heroes" are not receiving enough recognition, according to Guy Fieri.
Fieri advised that we should celebrate our veterans, active military, and first responders daily in this country, as he stated on Jan. 7 to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"They're unsung heroes," he added.
Fieri emphasized the need for more "attention" to be given to the military and veterans, stating that "there's just not enough done" for those who dedicate their lives to being on the front lines.
The Guy Fieri Foundation, founded by the celebrity chef, honors veterans and first responders through various programs that recognize their commitment to duty and community service. Fieri hosts events that celebrate their dedication through food and heartfelt words of appreciation.
Fieri's foundation focuses on helping causes around the world, but he believes that taking care of people at home is crucial first.
He revealed that his father was a member of the military, which makes him highly respectful of veterans and first responders.
"My dad served on submarines during Vietnam. Many of my family members have served in our country. My foundation, the Guy Fieri Foundation, focuses on serving those who have served us."
On Tuesday, Fieri's foundation posted on Instagram that they were providing meals to L.A. fire first responders.
"Yesterday in Malibu, our first responders were served dinner by men and women in uniform, as shown in the first photo with the hashtag #servingthosewhoprotectusall. The following video depicted the group ready to eat, with text that read "It's go time to serve dinner to our first responders coming off the fire lines @losangelesfiredepartment @calfire in Malibu.""
The host of "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" is preparing for his Flavortown Tailgate party for the Super Bowl and shared with Planet Chronicle Digital how his partnership with Carnival Cruise Line is benefiting "unsung heroes."
Fieri stated that 2,000 out of 10,000 tickets were reserved for active military, veterans, and first responders from the beginning.
Guy Fieri believes that not enough has been done for military personnel, veterans, and first responders.
In addition to Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch, King's Hawaiian, TickPick, Sabra, and GNC, he has also teamed up with these brands this year. Guy's Flavortown Tailgate is happening on Sunday, February 9th in New Orleans. However, the first event took place in Arizona, where an unexpected incident occurred.
"The president of Carnival was backstage, and she said, "I want to give away a cruise." I asked, "How many?" She replied, "Well, I don't know, 10 or 20." I was taken aback."
The chef and the two agreed on the cruises' destination, and when they took the stage, Fieri asked anyone who was active military to raise their hands.
Guy Fieri's unique approach to catering for active military, veterans, and first responders.
"I declared that all attendees would receive a free cruise, causing an uproar and tears. Then, I asked for a show of hands from veterans."
"We are the greatest country in the world, with the greatest resources at our disposal," Fieri stated. "As a collective force, we have the power to achieve anything we desire."
In addition to being a philanthropic chef and TV personality, Fieri also owns the tequila brand Santo Spirits with ex-Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar.
Thousands of bottles are still missing from his tequila business after two freight trucks carrying $1 million in products were stolen last year.
"Fieri stated that someone still has 10,000 bottles of it, which left them feeling disheartened."
In Laredo, Texas, two freight trucks were reportedly hijacked over the weekend of Nov. 9, according to a representative for Hagar who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital.
Hagar's representative stated that the trucks were illegally double-brokered to different carriers who transferred the product to their trucks after crossing the border from Mexico to Texas.
One truck is still missing, and it was part of a planned hijack, according to Fieri.
After a truck carrying $1M of booze was hijacked, GUY FIERI claims that 10,000 bottles of tequila are still missing.
"Someone planned and executed the theft of a truck."
To replace the lost tequila truck, he immediately produced more alcohol at his business facilities, with his team working on a 24/7 program.
"The truck's location is unknown, but it was filled with mischief. They used GPS masking locators to show that the truck was moving."
The Los Angeles Police Department provided Fieri's team with "really great support" during the hijack investigation, which he initially believed was a prank.
