Kresge's friend and former road manager, Ryan Galway, passed away at his home in Caldwell, New Jersey. The cause of death is unknown.
Kresge, inspired by Mandrake the Magician, began his TV career in the 1960s and continued to be popular for many years, appearing as a guest on talk shows hosted by various hosts, including Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson, and Jimmy Fallon.
