Leslie Charleson, a dear friend and colleague of executive producer Frank Valentini, has passed away, as confirmed on the show's official Instagram account.
"Leslie's enduring legacy, spanning nearly 50 years on General Hospital, was as a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew. I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit, and incredible presence on set."
"I extend my deepest condolences to her loved ones on behalf of everyone at General Hospital during this challenging period."
Charleson's cause of death has not yet been determined.
