Gavin Newsom faces criticism from Michael Rapaport over the LA Fires: "Fire-proofing, not Trump-proofing, is the solution"
Gov. Gavin Newsom made too many mistakes, according to Michael Rapaport.
On Tuesday, in a video, actor Michael Rapaport confronted California Gov. Gavin Newsom, saying, "You've made enough mistakes, your time is up!"
The actor from "Only Murders in the Building" stated that "Gavin with the good hair Newsom" should have been concentrating on "fire-proofing" California instead of "Trump-proofing" it.
The 54-year-old said in a video he posted to Instagram, "You’re talking about Trump this, Trump that. He’s not even president," as the Southern California fires, which have burned thousands of homes, entered their second week.
Rapaport has previously criticized Trump, but stated that Vice President Harris lost his vote in the 2024 election due to Israel.
He mocked Newsom's statement, saying, 'We’ll do better next time. We need to learn from our mistakes,' and added, 'Get the f--- out of here!'

"You turned out to be quite the talented artist, despite your rough exterior," he remarked.
Newsom has been criticized by celebrities, including Rapaport, amid the devastating fires in Los Angeles.

Izzy Gardon, the director of communications for Newsom, stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that anyone who has experienced a tragedy knows that there are both lighthearted and sorrowful moments. Gardon observed this firsthand during the governor's visit to Los Angeles over the past three days, where he met with firefighters, first responders, and victims of the tragedy.
