FBI conducts activity at Ben Affleck's LA home in relation to Palisades fire.
The FBI has been drawn to the Palisades Fire region.
On Sunday, the FBI visited Ben Affleck's home in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood, according to Planet Chronicle Digital.
Agents were spotted outside the actor's property in photographs taken outside the rental residence, according to FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller.
The FBI's Ground Intercept task force is conducting activity in the Palisades fire area. Agents and local partners may be visible in the area, including at residences.
It is unclear if Affleck was present when the agents arrived. According to reports, they left after spending some time on the property. A spokesperson for Affleck did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
Affleck was photographed embracing his eldest child, daughter Violet, 19, outside the rental home where he and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez reportedly lived before she filed for divorce in August. Pictures taken this summer showed a moving truck leaving the Los Angeles pad.
Earlier this month, Affleck and Lopez finalized their divorce, a month before they made their split official. Their Beverly Hills mansion, listed for $68 million, remains on the market.
In July, it was reported that Affleck bought a new home in Pacific Palisades for over $20 million. Unlike other celebrity homes, Affleck's reportedly withstood the Palisades Fire.
During an interview with MSNBC over the weekend, Jennifer Garner, Affleck's ex-wife and mother of their three children, became emotional while on the ground in the Pacific Palisades following the fire.
"Garner, who has resided in and around the Palisades for 25 years, shared on camera the significance of aiding her community. "My heart aches for my friends... And there are 5,000 homes lost," she said. "I could easily compile a list of 100 friends who lost their homes.""
"I feel almost guilty walking through my house... What can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?"
The Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, and Hurst Fire are the three active fires currently burning in Los Angeles, with the Palisades Fire being 14% contained, the Eaton Fire being 33% contained, and the Hurst Fire being 89% contained. A total of over 12,300 structures have been destroyed.
