Expert: Prince William faces pressure to preserve the monarchy amid Prince Harry and Prince Andrew's concerns.
King Charles III's cancer treatment continues while the Prince of Wales prepares to become monarch.
Prince William is set to become the next king, and he will not let anyone stand in his way as King Charles battles cancer.
Hilary Fordwich, a British royal expert, stated that the Prince of Wales is concerned about the future of "The Firm" and its impact on his role.
"Prince William is committed to his royal duties, as instilled in him by Queen Elizabeth II, who taught him about his responsibilities every Sunday, according to Fordwich. Additionally, he faces immense generational pressure due to the growing popularity of the monarchy, which is equally important to him and Princess Catherine."
Fordwich stated that Prince Harry and Prince Andrew are cautious about his anger.
Fordwich claimed that "Spare" by Harry, which contained bitter accusations against the royal family, particularly his criticism of Princess Diana, was the "final straw" for William.
William believes that he and his wife were "bitterly attacked" in Harry's tell-all, and he thinks that the disgraced Duke of York has put the family in jeopardy over his controversial ties to late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Fordwich stated that as a millennial, he cannot and will not take any risks associated with family members who are seen as a distraction from public duty.
Sources informed In Touch that Fordwich has been asserting his authority in regards to the monarchy's future decisions, shortly after making his claims.
"A palace insider revealed that anyone who opposes him will be swiftly removed, as he is not tolerant of any nonsense and is already known to be the toughest ruler the family has ever had."
Recent reports suggest that William has been more influential than ever before, with sources claiming that he is not afraid to make decisions that he believes will benefit the Crown in the future.
"Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner stated that people close to him say the monarch is difficult to work with and unyielding in his pursuit of goals, adding that he does not tolerate foolishness."
"According to Pelham Turner, it is commonly believed that King Charles struggles to make decisions, particularly regarding his two sons and how to handle Harry. In contrast, William is more straightforward, similar to his grandfather Prince Philip, who would push people out of the way if they obstructed him. Moreover, William is highly ambitious."
Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, informed Planet Chronicle Digital that Prince William is committed to transforming the monarchy's image. The previous year was particularly challenging for the prince, as he acknowledged, due to his family's health crisis.
In 2024, both Charles and his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton were diagnosed with cancer. In September, the Princess of Wales announced that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment.
The royal family has faced criticism and negative publicity in recent years due to family members causing chaos, illness, and financial issues, as Prince William is fully aware.
"Despite the challenges he faced in the past year, Prince William has emerged with renewed energy and purpose. He is confident in his role as a family man and is redefining his role as the future heir to the throne. Through his charitable service, he continues to use his platform for meaningful good."
Chard stated that he supports King Charles and has seamlessly taken on the role, commanding attention at every event.
"Although he is destined to become king, he doesn't blindly follow his father's teachings. He wants to modernize the monarchy and present a more inclusive image."

According to In Touch, sources claimed that William is "grabbing" more power from King Charles.
According to Planet Chronicle Digital, experts stated that the king is content with his eldest son assuming control.
"According to Fordwich, King Charles is reportedly pleased that Prince William has adopted a responsible and committed attitude towards the monarchy. Unlike some of his predecessors, Prince William is not known for his carefree lifestyle or his dedication to debauchery."
It is reported that with the king, 76, still undergoing cancer treatment, William has accepted that his reign will come to an end sooner rather than later.
William aims to enhance the family's reputation, according to Chard.
"Chard stated that he is making strategic decisions to benefit the crown, values loyalty, and will not allow anyone to further damage the family name. The Sussexes, Prince Andrew, and anyone who oversteps the mark will be kept at a distance."
"The Sovereign Grant is set to increase by nearly $56 million, while Prince William is working towards reducing unnecessary royal family spending and promoting sustainability," Chard shared.
"The royal family must demonstrate the worth of their money. The public demands greater financial transparency, and Prince William exhibits his strong character by guiding the monarchy through uncharted waters."
William wants to be viewed as a "hands-on" king who brings about positive changes in the UK. His charities and initiatives, which focus on mental health and the environment, provide clues about the type of monarch he may become in the future.
Fordwich stated that one can examine projects he has focused on, including the Earthshot Prize and his goal to eradicate homelessness within five years, as well as other initiatives related to mental health concerns.
William previously stated that he and his 43-year-old wife are devoted to serving others.
"He stated that for them, it is not about dictating others, but rather about assisting and backing them in their decisions."
