Expert: Kate Middleton is the "glue" when King Charles and Prince William don't see eye to eye.
On January 9, the Princess of Wales celebrates her 43rd birthday.
Kate Middleton, who has fought cancer and witnessed her father-in-law battle the disease while fulfilling royal duties, eagerly anticipates her 43rd birthday.
On Thursday, the Princess of Wales will celebrate her special day privately with her loved ones, while the public lauds the royal for being the British monarchy's shining star. However, royal experts have already praised the future queen consort for being a valuable asset to "The Firm," as she has proven herself to be a valuable asset to the royal family.
"Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that King Charles is deeply fond and proud of his daughter-in-law. According to Chard, the King considers her one of his biggest fans and admires her similar passions, empathy, and resilience. She is solution-focused and serves as the bond between Prince William and King Charles III."
Chard stated that father and son don't always agree.
In his book "Catherine, the Princess of Wales," Robert Jobson stated that the king had raised concerns about William, the heir to the throne, flying with his family, including his wife Kate and their three children.
The king, 76, presented William, an experienced pilot, with a formal document acknowledging the risks involved and taking full responsibility for his actions, which sparked a tense disagreement.
"She is solution-focused and is certainly the glue between Prince William and King Charles III. Father and son don't always see eye to eye." — Helena Chard, British broadcaster and photographer
Although there was disagreement, the book asserted that the monarch had commended his daughter-in-law for having a "stabilizing impact" on William, particularly in his relationship with the monarch.
According to a source, Kate is known for being emotionally mature and always trying to see both sides of any dispute.
"The courtier stated that the [king] comprehends Catherine's positive impact on the family and deeply values her contributions."
According to Christopher Andersen, author of "The King," Kate's tough-mindedness and realism have been the keys to her surviving the royal family.
The king quickly took notice.
"Kate and King Charles have strengthened their bond due to their shared cancer battle. The king was so impressed with Kate's grace and grit that he bestowed a singular honor on her, making her a Royal Companion of Honour, an unmistakable sign of his faith in her ability to help carry the monarchy forward."
Andersen remarked that the king would not give Kate advice on becoming a future queen as it would fuel speculation that he might not be around for long. Charles III plans to remain on the throne for several years.
"Camilla has not felt the need to discuss her experiences as queen with Kate due to a shared reason. Although Charles admires Kate, the relationship between the current and future queens is characterized by mutual respect."
Kate is renowned for her hands-on approach to raising her children, including her eldest Prince George, 11, who is second in line. This approach has earned her praise from the monarch as he continues his cancer treatment.
"As Chard stated, Princess Catherine is the center of her family, with family being her top priority. This has made the Waleses a close-knit and loving family. Catherine has played a significant role in transforming royal parenting."
Princess Catherine's commitment to putting family first and prioritizing the well-being of the future heirs comforts King Charles. He knows that when the time comes, she will effortlessly become the ideal future queen.
Due to her commitment to her family and her recent health struggle, it is anticipated that Kate will approach her royal responsibilities with caution. In September, Kate disclosed that she had finished her chemotherapy treatment.
According to sources, Kate will not return to work in the same way as before after her cancer diagnosis. Although her diary in 2025 does not include any full-scale foreign tours, she is expected to attend major royal events, including Trooping the Colour.
"Kate has always prioritized her family, and now more than ever she will be focusing on her children, said Andersen. Meanwhile, Kate will make her presence known domestically by dedicating any available time to the British charities that are most important to her."
"Although King Charles is unable to perform all of his royal duties, he is grateful for Prince William's ability to step in when necessary. This has allowed Prince William to shine as a skilled statesman. Additionally, this experience has reminded and prepared the Prince and Princess of Wales for their future roles as king and queen."
Kate Middleton's normalcy is back, as seen in the latest video.
"Princess Catherine has carefully considered her future role and has made it clear that family is a priority while managing public expectations. She understands the love and worldwide recognition she receives but also recognizes the importance of remembering that the public will see her at key events for decades to come."
Kate has been training for years as a future queen, receiving valuable advice from the late Queen Elizabeth II, who ruled England for 69 years and passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
On Thursday, the focus will be on celebrating Kate's big day, which is something both Charles and William can agree on. British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Planet Chronicle Digital that the day will be focused on the children as William, "not a particularly brilliant cook," attempts to make breakfast for her.
"Fordwich stated that Princess Catherine has always remained committed to her core beliefs, which prioritize family first. This extends to her new royal family and her dedication to duty. As a result, she will be a highly valued and admired queen."
