Expert: Kate Middleton has stopped acting as a peacemaker between Prince Harry and the royal family, expressing her frustration in a dramatic gesture.
The Princess of Wales has finished chemotherapy after fighting an unspecified type of cancer.
Despite longstanding speculation that Kate Middleton aimed to mediate the conflict between Prince William and Prince Harry, recent reports suggest that her cancer battle has shifted her priorities.
According to Christopher Andersen, author of "The King," the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer a concern for Kate. Instead, the 42-year-old is fully committed to safeguarding the monarchy's future, alongside William and King Charles III.
"Andersen asserted that the notion that Kate continues to play peacemaker despite having limited time and energy is absurd. After attempting to mediate between William, Charles, and Harry for years, Kate eventually gave up in frustration. Despite her efforts, it was insufficient to mend the rift between the siblings."
Kensington Palace declined to comment on the matter when approached by Planet Chronicle Digital.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal expert, stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that Kate is completely in agreement with William, 42, regarding the handling of the royal rift.
"In his memoir "Spare," Harry portrayed Meghan Markle as cold and unwelcoming, painting a damaging picture of the royal family. The memoir, which is set to be released in paperback, will bring his allegations to the forefront once again, although he will not be adding to the volume or promoting it. He is fully aware of the damage it has caused."
Kate will prioritize her health while gradually resuming royal duties on her own terms, as noted by Fitzwilliams.
"Catherine's recovery is showing positive signs, as she has stated her focus is on being "cancer free." The Wales family has faced a challenging year. Catherine has completed her preventative chemotherapy. William, while performing royal duties, has been incredibly supportive. However, Catherine wishes to steer clear of anything that may generate negative energy."
Since 2020, Harry has had a strained relationship with his family due to his and Meghan's decision to step back as senior royals, citing unbearable intrusions and racist attitudes from the British press.
Since then, the father of two has shared his tumultuous relationship with his family through TV interviews, a documentary, and his memoir.
In his book, Harry claimed that during a heated argument in 2019, William referred to his wife as "difficult" and "rude" and then grabbed him by the collar and pushed him down. Harry sustained injuries from landing on a dog bowl. Harry stated that Charles urged the brothers to reconcile following the death of their father, Prince Philip, in 2021, and pleaded, "Please, boys, don't make my final years a misery."
Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that Kate is renowned for her ability to negotiate effectively. Nevertheless, she is not currently focusing on contacting Prince Harry.
"Chard stated that her top priority is ensuring her family's well-being and happiness. She also recognizes the importance of treating herself kindly. After completing her preventative chemotherapy treatment, she is grateful for the opportunity to perform royal duties but understands that she is not completely free from the threat of illness."
"The royal family is aware that Prince Harry will be bothered by the silent treatment and will want to contact Princess Catherine."
People magazine reported that Harry's attempts to reach his father through calls, letters, texts, and messages are consistently ignored.
"Catherine has been working towards peace for the past year, according to Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital. However, Harry and Meghan are not currently a concern for the Prince and Princess of Wales, as Catherine is prioritizing her health and family. Harry and Meghan's actions are not relevant to them at this time."
Despite Catherine being cancer-free, King Charles, 75, is still battling the disease, according to Schofield.
William is heir to the British throne.
"Schofield stated that Prince William and Catherine will need to adjust to a significant change in their lives as they prepare for William's eventual ascension to the throne. They are currently planning for issues such as how to handle raising teenagers in the public eye, the level of access the world will have, and how to safeguard their children."
Prince William and Kate Middleton are committed to their roles as the future of the monarchy, working together as a strong partnership.
"Schofield stated, "The bigger picture no longer includes Harry, and they are focused on keeping Catherine cancer-free, the future of their family, and the future of the crown." He added, "Harry likely misses Catherine because he is a perpetual victim, but you've made your bed, now lie in it. I hope the payday he received from ‘Spare’ was worth losing a sister-in-law who loved him like her own little brother. Was complaining about Catherine’s lack of enthusiasm over sharing lip gloss with his stranger wife or publishing private text messages sent from a future queen worth his exile?""
"The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is rubbish. She did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust. She did her bit, but it wasn't enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other." — Christopher Andersen, author of "The King"
Schofield stated that Harry must face the repercussions of his choices.
Not all individuals concur that Kate has endeavored to act as a mediator following the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the royal family.
"Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that it is an intriguing situation that Kate serves as a mediator between William and Harry. He expressed his surprise at this scenario and questioned if it is being promoted by a PR source."
"William's emotions are unheard of as Kate goes against him, but the truth in royal sagas is always stranger than fiction. I believe Meghan needs to feel safe before returning to a chaotic environment, and Harry will never betray her."
Kate declared on September 9th that she had finished her treatment six months after disclosing she had a concealed form of cancer. This announcement was made six weeks after Buckingham Palace announced that the king was undergoing cancer treatment.
She announced in a video that her recovery journey would be a long process, and she would tackle it one day at a time. She also stated that she would participate in some limited engagements until the end of the year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their two young children reside in California.
